The property was amazing for our family vacation and backyard wedding. The host was extremely accommodating regarding our event, and the house was well stocked with cookware and seasoning for all the cooking we did throughout the week. We loved the kayaks and fire pit, but watching cranes from the deck was probably our favorite part!

The perfect low-key family getaway!

This was an amazing stay for our outdoor loving party of 12. We spent our days fishing, playing in the sand, swimming in the lake, and snacking on the deck. Nighttime was great watching the sunset on the water, roasting marshmallows, and playing games with family. A place we’d definitely visit again!

Our family of 10 enjoyed our weekend stay. We were so happy to see the Christmas tree was up as this was our family Christmas weekend. The house is spacious and clean. Unfortunately it rained so we couldn’t spend a lot of time outside but there was plenty of room for multiple activities with beautiful lake views from every room.

Nice waterfront place with privacy

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Our paddleboards and a small dinghy were used often on the protected water, and our sons were kept very busy with the huge Catfish in there. It was great.

Fantastic Family Gathering

Outstanding property with great outdoor space. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the beach entry and shaded back yard. The indoor layout and finishes were great for large families with children! The dock and playset could use a little love and repair. The only other item of concern is zero Wifi service. It is an inconvenience to those that may have to work some while enjoying time away. The overall trip was fantastic. Great outdoor space and excellent location in relation to additional activities.

The best getaway I’ve had in a long time

The location was amazing! A great view, lots of little wildlife. The house was so homey, and they thought of everything! The board games, the swing set, the space; it was all amazing! We came with just a paddle board and two river floats and had the best time. Close to the grocery stores, shopping areas, and great food options.. all 7-15 minutes! The host made everything a breeze and made us feel very welcomed! I highly recommend!

Beautiful Place

Our family of 11 stayed here in early May. We found everything we needed and more. The setting is gorgeous and quite comfortable. The kids had fun fishing off the dock, swimming and playing catch in the expansive yard. We all agreed we would love to stay here again.

Perfect setting for a getaway with extended family

The house and location were perfect for our stay in Charlotte. We were visiting our daughter that attends UNC Charlotte and had some extended family that stayed with us too (Grandma, cousins, brother, aunt). Everyone loved the house and the location. The yard is big with lots of shoreline and views of Lake Wylie. We loved the fire pit, pier, big yard, big deck and sandy beach area. The sunset over the lake was beautiful! Each morning we saw deer and enjoyed the remote setting while still being close to everything! The layout of the house is great and had lots of space for everyone. I would definitely recommend the house and would rent it again.
