Great motel

Owner is very friendly and this lovely motel is within walking distance for meals either breakfast,lunch or dinner as no meals available at motel but breakfast kit available at front office if needed. Room was small for three people but a normal motel size. Shower wonderful. Air Conditioning worked well. Toaster and fridge available in room. Car park at the front of room. Loved the two dogs on site, Josie and Marley, who loved pats

We stayed 3 nights at the Walzting Matlilda Motor Inn at Charleville and enjoyed the stay.The room (No 27) was small but the bed was comfortable and everything inhouse worked. We were able to park at our front door each night, Paul the host was great. Nice Bistro at the RSL in town. Would stay again when in Charleville. Oh and a lovely bakery 200 metres down the road.

We would stay here again. It is suitable for 2 people to sleep. The recptionist was very helpful, they walked us to our room and explained the one way road, where/how to exit and that there is no assigned parking so first in best dressed kind of situation, we were lucky to get a park right out front of our room, they suggested to walk to dinner so we wouldnt loose our "prime" parking spot, they reassured us ut was safe and there were 2 restaurants withing a 5 minute walk. We did follow their suggestion and walked to the Hotel Corones, where we had the best seafood we have had inland, the oystera and baramundi were so good, even evtter than some of the places we have had seafood on the coast. We felt safe walking around, well lit streets and only passed 1 person. The service was great. Although there was a sulphur smell to the water when showering (there are signs posted in the bathroom explaining this), I would recommend staying here and definitely eating at Hotel Corones.

It's an ok Motel, but a bit expensive for the old state of things. We had a much larger, much more modern and comfortable room with a nice large modern bathroom for $30 less in Dalby.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room was good and had everything we needed, parking was easy and the owner/manager was very helpful and informative. There was bottled water in our frig and a guest laundry both of which we really appreciated. A very short half block to coffee and cafe and not much further to have a meal. Would definitely stay again.

Great value accommodation

Overall great value and convenient location. Staff were very friendly and checking was quick and smooth. whilst rooms were tidy it could definitely benefit from a deep clean, the fan in the bathroom was very dusty and lots of dead small bugs allover the bathroom ceiling.

This motel in Charleville is a comfortable stay. The rooms are very small but clean and comfortable. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I enjoyed a good nights sleep before departing at 6am. The parking outside the rooms is open air and almost too tight for anything bigger than a standard 4x4. The property has enough room away from the rooms to park anything of size and there is also plenty of street parking in a safe area. There is a reasonable hotel within 200 meters for evening meals. Also an added bonus is the local Bakery only 300 meters down the road that opens early and 6am sat and sun. for those wanting a good coffee on departure. I would stay again.
