Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and complimentary light dinner four nights a week very appreciated during an extended stay. Cleaning a bit erratic but adequate and housekeepers responsive if asked to vacuum, provide fresh towels, etc. other day and quality (fresh towels, vacuuming, making beds) a bit erratic.

We stayed here, one reason because of the location. We visited Magnolia Plantation and the market and Bay Area. If you know the traffic situation in Charleston this was kind of in the middle and we didn’t have to wait in traffic as long. We went down town one day and Magnolia Plantation the next! The price of this place was reasonable and very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful lobby, kept sparkling clean. I have never seen so many workers mopping, vacuuming back stairs, shining up elevator doors! And the breakfast spread was amazing!! Great value for the money.

Saved a lot of money using Hotels.com!!!

I tried to call and see what discounts were available to verify I was getting the best rate and the room was going for about $350 a night with a discount. Hotels beat that by over $200 a night LESS than a call for a vacant room late on the night of booking. The room was clean, the extra seating and table was nice, along with the kitchen and utensils for cooking in the room! I also liked the large walk in shower!

The clerk at the front desk was very nice. I guess you get showed love on day shift because the afternoon and night shift don’t even care nor acknowledge you. Our room had a little musty smell and the shower curtains were nasty but overall the room was okay.

Nice stay, but.....

The stay was good with the exception of loud music from some venue outside on Saturday night. Not the hotels fault, but took off one star because of the obnoxious noise until 1:00am.
