The property is located on the lovely Daniel Island. It feels safe and secure. Parking was on the street very close to the entrance to the property. I reached out to the property manager as soon as we arrived with a question about the thermostat and received a prompt and helpful reply. It is important for potential future guests to know that this is a small apartment on top of a garage, and the pull out sofa and bed are in one large room, not in separate rooms as it may appear in the photos. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. It seemed as though the property was not professionally cleaned before we arrived. The toilet had a *stain* in the bowl and the baseboards were dusty throughout. There was an odor that suggested mildew, and did not abate throughout the stay. There were no hand towels or wash cloths in the apartment. The elastic on the fitted sheet was stretched and the sheet would not stay in place throughout the night. The garage door was opened late at night and woke us up.
