I gave it a two star instead of one because staff was nice and helpful. The rooms was dirty and smelled. We had to ask to be moved to another room because it smelled so bad, the second room didn’t smell as bad. However it was dirty. Mold on the tiles in the shower and what looked like blood on the walls in the bathroom. Looks like someone had a Valentine there the night before because there were heart shape decorations on the floor, I’m assuming the carpet was vacuum. But I also understand you get what you pay for.

The room stunk really bad and was dirty. The pillows are awful. No blankets just multiple top sheets. We had 4 guests and they only stocked towels for two. The tub was so gross I had to wash it out myself.

Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend

I stayed at the Days Inn for two days, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The room was filthy, with stains on the walls, and the bed sheets had cigarette burns throughout. The hotel advertises free breakfast, but it’s just cereal in a glass bowl that looked like it had been sitting there for days. To make matters worse, homeless individuals were coming in and eating the food as well. The heater/AC unit was the loudest part of the room, making it impossible to sleep. The bathroom was disgusting, and while they claim to be renovating, the only thing that seemed updated was the mirror above the sink—everything else was old and outdated. No housekeeping came during our stay, which added to the lack of cleanliness. The staff at the front desk were unprofessional, coughing while handling my ID and cards without concern for hygiene. The only positive thing I can say is that there were no bed bugs, but the overall vibe felt more like a rundown motel than a proper hotel. If you’re okay with outdated facilities, poor cleanliness, and no housekeeping, this might work for you. For us, it was a terrible experience, and I would not stay here again.

When we arrived around 6pm there wasn’t anyone at the desk. Bell is broken. Not enough towels for the 3 adults. Housekeeping was no where to be found and no one was interested in getting us any towels. The room was just dirty.

Nice people, terrible facilities

Employees were very nice & helpful. Room smelled like a mix of cleanimg chemicals & feces. Carpet was filthy. Everything felt damp. Obviously not well constructed & needs updating very badly. Temp control was also essentially non-functional.

The carpet was filthy, there patches & stains on the walls, the tub & bathroom floor was gross, the window shade was broken. I don’t know how a room can be rented in such horrible condition.

I will never stay at a Days Inn again. Now I see why they were so inexpensive. The water in the shower never got hot for us. One shower was actually cool the others were luke warm. I had to dust the light bulbs they were so dirty. The coffee maker had a note that said add hot water since the coffee comes out so strong. I never could get the balance correct. I say fix the machine. Staff was nice. Our room was made up which we didn't ask for so that was nice and fresh towels. I had to put a towel on my blouse so as not to transfer burned iron onto my clothes.

I wouldn’t recommend!

This room was terrible, it stinks, the hot water wasn’t working at first. Cracks in the walls everywhere. The tub looked like it had mold on the side. There were times the toilet wouldn’t flush. Repairs weren’t done correctly. Sink stayed flooded. Pillow stained with what looked like blood. I would give 0 stars if I could. I was highly uncomfortable and upset about the room. Will not be back!

Stained sheets, stained carpet, ceiling falling apart, portions of the tub were exposed open holes, no hot water and when I talked to the front desk the lady argued with me about it and told me I needed to run it for 30 minutes to let it get hot and if I stay again to ask for a room closer to where the buildings meet. Extremely unprofessional. Furthermore, they are blaming hurricane Helene for for the fact they don’t have cable in any room and have it posted on their door, extremely bad look when the hurricane had no effect on the Charleston area but where I live was devastated. Still people stuck and without power and they are using this event to try to convince travelers that there effects in the Charleston area. Very disappointed in Wyndham for putting their name on this disrespectful dump!!!
