Hotel and spas in Downtown Steamboat Springs
What should I bring to a spa hotel? When deciding what to bring with you to your spa hotel, think practicality and comfort. Casual, loose-fitting apparel is ideal spa attire. Along with bathrobes, a lot of hotels provide guests with toweling slippers. However, if you're planning on doing exercise classes, pack your trusty trainers. Hoping to reset and recharge in the steaming hot tub or sweat it out in the sauna? A bathing suit is a must. While spending all day lazing around in practically nothing can feel very freeing, be aware a restaurant dress code may apply if you're at a top-end resort. Put a nice outfit in your bag — just in case.

The Steamboat Grand
"I wanted to give 5 stars because overall we were very happy. The hotel is beautiful. The staff are very professional and friendly (unusual for mountain towns). Unfortunately, they were a little understaffed (maybe due to it being the off season). One night there was one person driving the shuttle bus to town and working as the valet. That's not fair to that employee. I pulled my car out of valet and switched to self parking. The mattresses and sofas are pretty hard. I was in pain each morning. The pool and hot tub are the perfect temperatures. We loved them! We had plenty of coffee pods for our three day stay. It was nice to not have to ask for more. The gym is the bomb. It's huge and all the equipment was well-maintained."
