This property was extremely disappointing and was absolutely not cleaned to a reasonable or safe standard before our arrival. The inside and outside of the house were filthy. We had to clean the entire house ourselves before we even felt comfortable sitting down, including washing dishes, wiping down walls, ceilings, hard surfaces, and other areas that should have been handled long before guests arrived.The hot tubs never worked during our stay, and the pool was disgusting. Victor did eventually send a pool cleaner, but not until 3 days into our 4-day trip, and even after that, the pool still was not clean. The grills were also dirty, rusting, and not in usable condition without cleaning. We had to clean and season the flat top ourselves before it felt safe to cook on.The owner blamed the cleaning crew, but based on the condition of the home, this was not a one-time missed cleaning. It looked like the property had not been properly cleaned or maintained in months. He also stated that stained bedding was okay because it was “clean, just stained,” which was not acceptable to us.We left the property cleaner than it had been in a very long time and almost suitable for the next guest. Unfortunately, this was not the clean, safe, or relaxing rental experience we paid for. I would not recommend this property unless major cleaning, maintenance, and management issues are addressed.
