Das B&B Borgo Sanda ist ein ausgesprochen idyllischer Ort, um die Seele so richtig baumeln zu lassen. Das Besondere: diese Unterkunft befindet sich in einer malerischen Region im Hinterland des Lago Maggiore und zum anderen an der warmen Herzlichkeit des Gastgebers Andrea. Er bemüht sich mit totaler Hingabe um seine Gäste, gibt tolle Tipps für die Umgebung, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants und bereitet jeden Morgen ein liebevolles Frühstück im Garten zu. Besonders der hausgemachte Apfelkuchen ist uns in Erinnerung geblieben. Das Ambiete ist top sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Zimmer war großräumig und bot einen kleinen Kühlschrank mit Getränken. Sehr praktisch. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum Lago Maggiore liegt das B&B einfach ideal. Nach Laveno am See sind es max. 10 min, von hier aus lassen sich gut sowohl der Nordteil als auch der Südteil des Sees sowie die Inselchen bestens erkunden. Unmittelbar in der Nachbarschaft, kann man in wenigen Gehminuten die wunderbare Villa Della Porta Bozzolo besichtigen. Der Eintritt ist es auf jeden Fall wert. Man kann gut 2 Stunden oder mehr hier verbringen. Tolle Parkanlage. Alles in allem ein unvergessliches B&B und für uns beide absolut empfehlenswert, ein Highlight für diese Region.
