Great location with the beach right across the street. Nice location close to many great restaurants. The place was very clean and had plenty of supplies to ensure a really nice stay. Thanks for hosting us.

Without a doubt the nicest, cleanest, best-equipped rental that we have occupied to date. Both the paint and the appliances seemed to be new. It was immaculately spotless. Loved the place. We'll be back.

Beautiful & Clean Beach House

This property was clean and beautiful. Perfectly located across the street from the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. All the beach items we needed were provided so we could enjoy a day in the sun and sand. Our group included 4 adults and this house was the perfect size for us. We really want to return again next summer.

Nice spot

We enjoyed our week in this well built, well maintained condo across from the ocean. The boulevard is loud but you get used to it. It was cute with its layout and many levels. The tea kettle and range are poorly designed but the kitchen supplies are adequate and the furniture is comfortable. Thank you for a delightful get away.

Just steps from the Beach

My family and I have stayed in a number of different units in this condo complex that is directly across the street from Tamarack Beach in Carlsbad. This unit is by far our favorite. Well kept and higher end furnishings inside and out, elevated decor, new bedding, comfortable beds, high level of cleanliness, and in general the minimal wear and tear of the place puts it above the rest. We had everything we needed/wanted from a well stocked kitchen to a plethora of beach gear items in the garage. You can’t beat the beach access just directly across from the stairs to beautiful and uncrowded Tamarack Beach…unless of course your direct ocean front on the sand paying 2-3 times as much per night. For the value it’s unbeatable. If there was one thing that could have made our stay over the top, it would be to add a few beach bikes to the rental. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Sunset dream slice of heaven

Our family of five (3 adult kids) loved our stay at Sunset Dreams on the 101 in Carlsbad. The location was wonderfu—just steps across the street to a beautiful and clean beach. The property was so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. We so appreciated the use of the beach chairs, umbrella, volleyball and more since we came from the East Coast. The washer and dryer was convenient. The beds were so comfortable with the softest sheets! We loved to watch the surfers from the second floor porch in the morning and sunsets on the evenings. The porch off the back was the perfect spot to hide away and read. We enjoyed walking into Carlsbad Village to get delicious coffee and açaí bowls from Better Buzz, tacos from Senior Grubby’s, the Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays, Italian at Via, Via Cuchina Italia, and more! We also enjoyed meals in the home thanks to the property being well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen. I appreciated the communication to Check in as well. We have stayed at many different properties, but this was one of our favorites!

A great stay in a small but stylish place

House had great beach equipment for families. We didn't use it but saw there was a lot of thought there. Hosts answered questions promptly and politely. Loved the ability to park inside the narrow garage. We fortunately had a small rental car. Location is very convenient. Lovely interior decor. AC was great. Beds were very comfy. Lots of stairs. Outdoor shower was even heated. Kitchen supplies were sparse. Needed better plates for microwave. Could hear neighbors thru the walls easily. It is loud on the front side all the time. But you're on the 101, so that is the tradeoff. We would stay again.

Great house / great location

Beautifully decorated at the beach

My adult daughter and I were only there for 2 days, but wish we could have stayed longer! The condo was clean and well appointed with all amenities considered. The location at the beach was great, just across the street and a 10 minute walk into Carlsbad Village. Beach traffic was considerably more on the weekend, but Monday was very quiet. Seems like a great beach location for families.
