Casa da Veiga de Riba d'Âncora is a beautiful family holiday home and the perfect choice for those who enjoy the tranquility of the countryside with the beach just steps away. With its privileged location, this typical regional house has been restored and upgraded to modern days, offering the ideal conditions to recharge batteries, without haste. With enough space to entertain while enjoying the days, Casa da Veiga has a spacious garden with a pool where you can spend entire days in the utmost tranquility. The Serra d'Arga dominates the landscape and provides countless opportunities for walks or bike rides. About 10 km away, there are excellent beaches with ideal conditions for surfing and kite surfing. The Coura river is also very close by, excellent for stand up paddle enthusiasts and canoeing. The historic town of Caminha, about 10 km away, besides its cultural heritage that always deserves a visit, is a beautiful choice to start or end an evening, or simply depart towards other points of Alto Minho or Galicia. We look forward to your visit!

Family vacation

The house was perfect for our family holidays. We enjoyed the location, garden, covered terrace and pool and was all we needed on the warm days and evenings.We would return to this place without hesitation.
