Each cottage opens to a semi-private porch overlooking landscaped gardens, nestled within a peaceful grove of elm trees that creates a sense of privacy and calm. It’s an ideal setting for a romantic getaway or a restorative escape.

Located just a short stroll from downtown Calistoga, you’ll have easy access to local restaurants, cafés, tasting rooms, boutiques, and galleries—while still returning to a tranquil retreat at the end of the day.

Cancellation Policy:
A deposit equal to the first night’s stay is charged at the time of booking. Reservations may be modified or canceled up to 7 days prior to arrival, less a $50 handling fee. Within 7 days of arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival forfeit the full reservation. No refunds are provided for early departures or unused nights. Reservations are only considered canceled once a confirmation number has been issued.

We loved our stay. I have been going to Calistoga since I was a little girl. We used to have a home there. Going back was so nostalgic. It was so fun to play tourist. The room was nice. The bathroom was nice and big. Lite breakfast was nice. I definitely took advantage of the bikes.

Lovely cottage an easy walk from the Calistoga Depot and shops, comfy fireplace for our rainy December evenings. Continental breakfast in the office was fine, but the fireplace and assortment of games made the breakfast room a great place to hang out as well. We like cottage-style rentals so we aren't sharing walls with other guests. Would definitely stay here again!

Buyer beware—THIS IS A MOTEL! This venue is advertised as an “independent country cottage, but it’s not a home or condo rental by owner. Moreover, while the VRBO overview of the property says it is pet friendly, what it doesn’t say is that each dog, which must weigh less than 50 lbs, will be charged 50/night/pet. We have two small dogs, one that weighs 20 lbs and one that weighs 8 lbs. We were charged an extra 200 for a two night stay! This is outrageous. Patrons should at least be informed ahead of time of the cost involved for bringing their pets. Other than this, the “motel room” was clean and cute, even if it lacked a regular sized refrigerator, a microwave oven, a hot plate, and a few other generally standard features of a normal VRBO offering. This property is simply misrepresented.

Great Time!

We came to Calistoga to attend and wedding. I found the Cottages on VRBO and I am so happy that I did. We found the space great for the two of us. We were able to walk to the main street. The host communicated well. We enjoyed our stay! We will be back.
