This place worked awesome to give some weary heads some much needed rest.. Victor was a great host, responding to messages quickly. Even when we should have been able to find details in info sent and listing. The house was warm and welcoming and the beds were comfortable. The park across the street was fun. The only improvements I noticed could be made was we couldn’t figure out how to get the kitchen hot water to work, and the main bathroom upstairs, the tap seemed to be broken or not working well in our short stay. I know Victor would have been accommodating if we had reached out about this.. all over all, I would definitely say good stay.
The property was well situated for a weekend out in Calgary - close to the beltline etc. There was a lot of spaces for everyone to sleep without having bunk beds etc, so really good for a large group if people want their own space. We had a group of 13 so it worked well for us. Hot water would run out if everyone tried to shower too close together, so be aware and plan to stagger shower times. The host was very communicative despite the Vrbo app having problems - he even reached out directly when we needed assistance checking in, which was great. I’d only have 2 complaints about an otherwise great stay - we didn’t have sufficient linens for the sofa bed or enough towels for the entire group and had to reach out to resolve it, although the property manager came fairly promptly to address it. Overall a great option for a large group
