Has been modernised but needs some maintenance. One cupboard door won’t close properly. There r not enough plugs in kitchen. Microwave too high up to use. Old fake plant needs throwing as does the rusty old clothes horse. Could do with a non slip mat on the tiled area to the pool.
We arrived after a long day of travelling to find another couple in the unit. They had used glasses, toilet & pool. They were given wrong keys by the agents Cairns Coast Holidays. It was a shock. A quick call and they sorted it. They did offer to clean but we just wanted to get in after such a long day.

The unit was easily accessible and stepping outside the door to the pool was lovely. It was very well equipped with all cooking utensils and crockery. The furnishings seemed new despite the unit being somewhat dated. There are some nice casual cafes and a pub next door. Would definitely return if heading back to Palm Cove.
