Gorgeous property and generous home. This was a gem of a place, easy to find, closer than I thought. The dock was easy to get to, the stairs were solid, and there was a little bistro set halfway down where I had coffee with my 81-year-old mother, who easily made it down that far to enjoy the lake view.The kitchen was well-equipped, and the landscaping around the home was thoughtfully designed. The deck chairs and cornhole toss game were big hits. The sweeping views of the mountains are stunning from the front porch. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great for us. We were a party of 7, including a 10-year-old, and we had plenty of room. We moved the loveseat to face the couch and the coffee table to improve the flow of the living room area. There aren't many options because that space is narrow. BUT it was no hindrance, as we had a BLAST, and the kitchen table was big, and the bar was also a great seating option for the whole gang when we came in for the evening to chat and play some games. RENT THIS NOW.

The house was beautiful and very clean. The only 2 dislikes we had was that there were 1 set of towels and washcloths left for each person and we are everyday shower takers so we had to wash in between. Also be aware the walk to the lake and dock is very step! There are steps most of the way but it is a hike. And make sure you take what you need before you get there because stores are about 20 min away or longer minus the dg but we arrived late and it wasn’t an option. Overall it was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed this home!

Very nicely kept home, with fun all around... kayaks and floats for the lake, corn hole, and after dark, a nice TV for movie night. We cooked in the well-equipped kitchen.Check-in went without a hitch, and the hosts responded promptly to questions prior to our arrival.

Comfortable Basic and Clean

We enjoyed our stay here my only complaint is there is not a hot tub on site as advertised. There is a very old juccuzi bath tub in the main bathroom. We were looking forward to a hot tub experience after a day of watersports on the lake. Otherwise, everything is as advertised, clean, neat, and orderly. Would stay again.

Beautiful home

We enjoyed the home. It has been remodeled and was very clean. There was plenty of room for our family. I loved that the homeowners provide games like corn hole and board games, outside chairs, etc. I knew there were steps to the lake but just be aware that it’s not an easy trek if you have bad knees (or like me who recently had foot surgery). We went to Elizabethton to see the covered bridge. We rented a boat and enjoyed the lake and the time we spent together. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Great house, lake front, and large level yard!

Earl, and his wife communicated promptly with no issues. The house was clean, well maintained and the new dock works great if you bring a boat. The big plus with this property compared to others around the lake is they have a large flat yard with plenty of parking and still a private staircase down to the lake. Hard to find around Watauga Lake.
