WiFi is a major problem. Even with booster it kept dropping out constantly. In room heater struggling in winter temperatures. Since our first stay approximately 40 years ago the resort has lost a fine restaurant, outdoor swimming pool with attended bar, kids games room, putting green, breakfast restaurant, free racquet hire and general store on site. We’ll probably return next time there’s a special advertised but it’s not what it was nor, sadly, what it really could be.

We booked a studio room and were pleasantly surprised how large it was. A very comfortable king size bed, good bathroom with heating. The only negative was the noisy air conditioner.

The property was close to my mother's home, which was within walking distance, it was also close to the bus stop (though service is infrequent) and to shops at Broadwater. I had a problem with no water on my first night, and the room phone seemed to not work. The staff replaced the gas bottles promptly and replaced the phone, and I was able to have a hot shower. There was a spa bath , I tried it before the gas was replaced and the water was cold but I may have been ok, I didnt get a another chance to retest it. Its only a short walk to the beach and the walking tracks along the shoreline. Quite beautiful scenery. I had read that there had been an issue with seaweed rotting odour, but I didnt smell anything off along the beach. I had a swim the hot pool. It was lukewarm, rather than hot, but quite relaxing. I washed my clothes in the laundry, there is only one washing machine and dryer, but I was the only one using it and it worked ok, though the dryer was small. My room had a jug , tea, coffee and sugar. I was expecting some basic cooking equipment, knives forks, plates and a microwave, so I had to eat out. There was restaurant Tonic within walking distance with nice food and drink. The room wifi worked well. I completed some computer programming on my laptop using the property wifi. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable, overall quite satisfied with my stay apart from a few issues

Beautiful property. Spacious room with an awesome, king sized bed. Only slight negative was the window covering on the lovely corner window which butted up against the entrance door. This caused the minor problem that the curtain gaped which reduced privacy.

We only had a couple of nights, but love everything about the place - the heated pool being one of the best things. One teeny weeny problem - using the shower caused a bit of a flood on the bathroom floor.
