Alrewas has three dining pubs and a mix of shops and takeaways, and there are lovely country walks along the canal tow path just 100 yards from the cottage. The National Memorial Aboretum is 0.5 miles away and Lichfield is 5 miles. Drayton Manor, Twycross Zoo and Tamworth Snowdome are 12 miles away, and Calke Abbey, Shugborough and Sudbury Hall (NT) are 15 miles away. how we spent our time during the week

A clean and comfortable cottage in lovely village, good range of shops, buses 1x hour to Lichfield and Burton-on-Trent. Canal walks 2 min away. National Monument Arboretum at must. Lichfield - cathedral, Erasmus Darwen's home very interesting. Train to Birmingham from Lichfield was a good day out. We loved the area.

Alrewas cottage

Lovely village , lovely cottage , old, cosy . Very clean and all you need for a country break . Gorgeous country garden to enjoy the sunshine. We didn’t get much but enjoyed our break .
