Amazing homestay

We had an amazing stay at Kilcarnup Break. The house is huge and there is everything you could need, including very comfy beds, a ping pong table, backyard cricket set, Nespresso coffee machine and more. Thank you so much for having us!!

Great base to explore

This property had everything we could have hoped for - hammocks, ping pong, beautifully furnished and comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen with some basic supplies. The location was perfect - everything we wanted to do and see was nearby. It also feels secluded and rural, with regular visits from kangaroos. The host, Brooke, was really helpful and responsive.

great experience

the property was clean and beautiful. well thought out - full kitchen set, condiments, for serious cooking for a huge family. the toys corner, play area, and outdoor was amazing for kids with sand, tree house, swing, n occasional kangaroo. definitely gg back one more time back one m

School Mates Catch Up

Kilcarnup Break was the ideal venue for us to relax while also enjoying some fantastic walks on the cape-to-cape track each day. The venue does not lack for anything. Highly recommend.

Amazing!!

We stayed at Kilcarnup Break for our annual Grand Final weekend getaway and have to say it is one of the best houses I have stayed in. We have stayed in lots of houses in the South West region over the years and nothing has matched up especially with regards to what is supplied. When they say well equiped kitchen, they mean it. I normally have to take half my kitchen with us but not this time and the hamper we received was a lovely touch. We will definitely be going back.

Wonderful retreat from the city

Kilcarnup Break was exactly as advertised. The property was perfectly outfitted for our family of 9, which included two children under the age of 5. Our host was prompt in their communication wiht us, and it made our stay a real pleasure.

Perfect pitstop

Marg River Multiple Family Getaway- Kilcarnup Break was our last stop on a week trip around WA's south west region. We selected this house as it best met the needs of our group of 7. On arrival we were greeted with an immaculately presented property with all the touches of home for our 3 night stay. The welcome basket and wine, breakfast cereals, abundant supply of condiments and fresh bread and milk were gratefully appreciated. We had planned to go out for dinner during our stay but as the kitchen was so well equipped (along with a gas BBQ) we decided to dine in each night, saving us quite a bit of money. We couldn't fault our stay as it was absolutely ideal for a larger group of family/friends. Thanks so much for your hospitality Brooke!

Great for multiple familes

We had a large group stay here and the configuration of the house was perfect for our needs - 2 master bedrooms upstairs both with ensuites and private balconies, and the rooms were huge; allowed us to separate from kids. Location is amazing. Would definitely stay again

Perfect stay!

We had a big group stay at this property! 9 adults and 4 kids and it was perfect place for us! The kids absolutely loved the size of the backyard with a swing and a trampoline and even some cricket gear was provided! On same days we were even lucky to have some beautiful kangaroos come visit the backyard. This house had absolutely everything you could need to have a comfortable stay. Amazing bedding, amazing towels and my favourite part the almost endless supply of tea towels!! (Which is super handy with such a big group of people)! Only a short 10 min drive to Margaret river town and still close to all the amazing wineries down south! The owners of the property have their holiday house directly next door and they are so lovely to deal with and you also hardly notice they are there! We can’t wait to hopefully come back and visit!

Amazing stay!

This place is gorgeous! I booked a weekend for our soccer team and the boys were absolutely blown away by the magic of the house. Its a short drive from town, amazing facilities and just a great time dealing with Brooke and Scott which made the stay even better. Lovely welcome basket on arrival was a great touch. Looking forward to the next stay at this amazing house :) thanks again Brooke!

Quiet and relaxing retreat .

Seven of us stayed at the Break to celebrate a 60 th birthday. We went into MR and surrounds for part of the days we were there. In the afternoons we spent time playing some games and enjoying the great food we had bought in town and at the market on the Saturday morning. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. Overall we had a terrific time and managed to see a few kangaroos and owls on the property.

Absolutely Beautiful Stay

Perfect in every way!

If I could give a rating of more than 5 stars I would! We were a group of 5 friends holidaying together and the house is perfectly configured in terms of bedrooms and bathrooms, communal spaces and quieter nooks. It is beautifully furnished, stylishly decorated and generously provisioned. The kitchen has plenty of plates and glasses, lovely serving dishes and good quality cookware. Plus loads of all the little things - coffee pods, tea, milk etc. Brooke was always quick to respond to my messages, too. A wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings.

Great relaxing getaway

A wonderful property close enough to Margaret River so you can pop into town for dinner but far enough away to feel like a bush retreat. Beautifully decorated bedrooms, a large lounge and kitchen with everything you could need and an enclosed outdoor area which can be used all year round. Daily visits by the local kangaroos are an added bonus. A welcome hamper was a wonderful touch, as was the bubbles dropped off by the owner. The perfect place to rest and recharge.
