Cute Cabin for Couples

Cute cabin for a couple's getaway! It was very clean; kitchen well stocked with necessities. Provided first bundle of firewood if a fire was what you wanted. Management very responsive. There is no Creekside view, it is near Deep Creek but no vire of the creek.

Very Disappointed

The Vrbo amenities page for Cozy Cub stated "tv with cable/satellite channels" ... When we couldn't get the cable channels to come on the first night, I texted the number I was given to ask what the trick was to get them going. I was sent back a note: "This cabin is streaming only. Our sincere apologies for this inconvenience, we appreciate your feedback and we will be sure to update that information on our website." ... Wifi & cable tv were the two main reasons we booked Cozy Cub over other spots ... There was no attempt to try to correct the situation, just the apology. So this was a breach of contract, so to speak, or you could say false advertising. I had to make other arrangements to get the cable stations we needed ... On my fourth call to express my displeasure, I finally connected with a Customer Service rep who seemed surprised that I wanted a partial refund--even though I was not getting something that was listed as part of the package. She finally called someone (Vrbo, I think) and negotiated a meager $90 refund ... Aside from that issue, Cozy Cub only had one problem—some ants in the kitchen (which we did not cause, since we did not eat there).

Perfect

The location was perfect. Even though the cabin we stayed in was near a street as a light sleeper I still slept perfectly with little to no noise. The cabin had everything down to a can opener and a wine bottle opener. I haven’t got bit by something and thankfully they had alcohol and Band-Aids in the bathroom sink; which amazed me. not sure if a previous guest left it or not but I appreciated it. We love the Jacuzzi and used it at least once a day. The Jacuzzi was really clean and maybe even a little too clean as the chlorine was pretty strong but I didn’t have any type of tester, so it was probably at the correct pH level. My daughter and we both have sensitive skin and had no reaction to the chlorine so I’m probably just not used to the chlorine smell. This place is right between hiking at the national park and the train perfect location I felt my vehicle was safe and highly lighted. This place is perfect for two people. You could possibly fit a twin blowup in the living room if you wanted one or two other kids (not sure what this place allows as max capacity). I loved how the bathroom was separated from the kitchen and the bathroom had doors on both I like bathroom privacy. Definitely make this an annual trip for my family as this place had everything in the accommodations were perfect and anytime I contacted the owner. I always gotten an immediate response.
