Pleasant, short stay but wish the water was more easily accessible

The accommodations and view were very nice. We would have liked a proper toilet paper dispenser though. Unfortunately, you had to walk a long way before being able to dip your toes in the ocean due to the rock wall and dune barrier areas. This was not very well explained in the listing which said "beachfront" on it.

Great ocean view condo

It is our second time we stay in this condo. It is well stocked, if you like to cook during your stay. Very clean and well maintained. The property manager as very helpful with the minor issue we had during our last stay. We are looking forward for our next stay at this wonderful place.

The condo was perfect. It was quiet and the views were amazing. The only thing we didn’t like was we couldn’t get past the rocks that are now preventing erosion.

Thanksgiving babymoon

My husband grew up going to Jekyll island on vacation and he brought me in 2020. We’ve visited every year since. The condo was nice but a little too small and too far away from the rest of the island for our liking.

Great spot for a restful get-away.

Not super spacious however it is adequate and relatively quiet. We had a little confusion in finding the key card for pool area and laundry. Peaceful sunrise views from the back patio. Short walk to interesting Driftwood beach. Easy drive to dining options and all the historical interests of Jeykll Island.

Beautiful Island Escape

Two adults and one dog. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. Best feature: Location! Sit on the back patio and take in all the wonder, including sights of the beautiful sunrise and calming sound of the sea. The location is ideal for long, peaceful walks on Driftwood Beach. Try to catch it at sunrise. The inside of the unit is tastefully decorated and well equipped for every day living. It is not overly spacious but the owners were creative with putting it all together, especially providing enough storage for clothes and toiletries. We appreciated onsite bike rentals and the great pool. We had two minor issues and the owner was very responsive. We would definitely recommend the unit for a couple or family with small children. for an it at sunrisecalming

A slice of paradise on Jekyll Island

Wonderful condo/villa with prime location. The condo has everything you need for cooking...pots/pans, utensils, serving ware, spices, coffee and more! They also provide plenty of beach chairs and floats for outdoor fun at the pool or beach. The unit was very clean, and organized with comfortable and nice furniture, plenty of towels and toiletries too. It is part of a hotel so you even have the convenience of amenities like a restaurant (open dinner hours only), a business center, and a small gift shop. You can also rent bikes from the hotel lobby. Parking was plentiful and the property overall was beautiful.

Fantastic Spot

We very much enjoyed our stay at this unit! It was clean and well maintained. We liked the short distance to Driftwood Beach and its proximity to the Driftwood Bistro on the property. It was an enjoyable, quiet, refreshing trip to the Golden Isles for us, and we look forward to returning soon! The only drawback to our stay had nothing to do with the unit itself, but rather a minor annoyance with the access to the ocean. The access stairs that are nearest to the unit were damaged, and the ocean access is closed at that point. You either have to walk up toward Driftwood Beach around the rock wall or to the other end of the property to gain water access. We were not made aware of this detail before we booked and confirmed. It would not hinder us from staying here again, but it would've been better to have a heads-up on the front end.

Amazing Getaway

Truly enjoyed our stay. Relaxing and awesome place to stay. You won’t regret booking this place! Within a minute walk to driftwood beach which was a huge plus and a park across the street to view alligators.

Beautiful ocean view!

Villas by the Sea is a large condo community. This unit is as close to the ocean as one can get. It was perfect for the two of us and our two pups. Walking the dogs was easy, people were from all over and very friendly, property was clean and well kept. This decor in this unit was charming and everything was exactly as outlined in the description. A perfect getaway for any time of year!

Fantastic location and a great place!

This unit was perfect for our first visit to Jekyll Island! It was well furnished and equipped, with comfortable couches and bed, good sheets and towels, and effective AC. It was clean and free from that common, musty “beach condo” odor. We loved the wooden double rocker on the patio! We also appreciated the easy parking, quiet neighbors, and, of course, proximity to Driftwood Beach. A moderate walk through Driftwood Beach and back along the Clam Creek trail is perfect for a daily nature fix, and Horton Pond is right across the street from the condo complex. There’s also a bike rack near the unit. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!
