We were very disappointed with the cleanliness. Bathrooms had a lot of mold/mildew, which was gross. The bedding did not seem very clean. The house was very cold when we arrived, temps were cold outside and the heating in house was slow and didnt make a difference. It wouldve been nice had the house temp been appropriately set prior to our arrival. We stayed for about an hour before we left. The overall comfort level was way below expectations, particularly for the females in our group. Even though it was likely disclosed, there was also a comfort issue with the owner staying on sight. It might have been a different if it were a bunch of guys staying and not a family with girls. We immediately notified the owner that we were leaving. We requested that the owner refund a fraction of our stay out of good faith (even though he likely didnt have to), we certainly wanted to pay for the first night but wouldve been ok with paying for 2 of the 3. He agreed to give a partial refund but did not make good on his word. Overall disappointed with the condition and failure for the owner to do what was right.
