We’ve stayed at many different cabins over the last 10 years, and this one was mediocre at best. The pictures were far better than than reality. While the hosts were helpful and nice, the cabin needs some maintenance. When we arrived, we noticed dirty wine glasses, hand prints all over the window of the back door (not ours) and something on dining table, like chili powder. The rug in the living room has a rolled edge (tripping hazard) and the ottomans are not equipped for seating and have seen better days. The shower curtain in one of the bathrooms was on backwards, and there was several pieces of hair on the walls of the shower. The upstairs shower curtain was actually a window curtain with a blackout shade. We also couldn’t seem to get the air conditioning upstairs to work. The kitchen didn’t have a slow cooker (or at least I couldn’t find it), even though I’d asked before we arrived. The kitchenware was limited compared to other cabins we’ve been to. There were no dish rags, only hand towels. The salt and pepper shakers were disgusting. Outside one of the pool cues was broken, there were cushions missing on the outdoor sofa, and the water hose was unraveled all over the floor by the ping pong table. The location is pretty far down a dirt road.
