We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Horse! It was very clean and the location was excellent. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. Our kids loved the games in the loft and our pup found the perfect spot on the porch to watch the deer. Highly recommend this cabin!

The property was very clean and welcoming. Our family loved hanging out on the covered porch. It was a perfect space to chill out, very private, and remained shaded all day. The hot tub was incredibly clean and we enjoyed it multiple times. Most of all, the host was wonderful. Very responsive and genuine. Loved our stay at Lazy Horse Lodge!!

The home was in excellent clean condition upon arrival. Bathrooms were all fully stocked with towels, bath products, hair dryers, etc.. The kids loved the arcade game and board games. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor playground, hot tub, and comfortable patio furniture were also great. Owner had great communication with us, even checking in during stay.

We loved our stay at the the beautiful Lazy Horse Lodge! So very nice in such a beautiful setting. We had everything we needed and the hosts were terrific. Our family relaxed on the huge deck, made s'mores, and our grandson loved the playset. We saw deer from the deck, enjoyed the nearby state park and just had a great time! Amazing memories made!

Five Stars - Perfect Family Getaway!! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property in Broken Bow! The home was spotless and just as described - peaceful, private, and perfect for families. Communication from the host was excellent, and the welcome manual made everything so easy to navigate.Our kids had the best time exploring the playground, relaxing in the hot tub, and watching deer visit the feeder every evening; such a special touch! We also felt incredibly safe with minimal traffic in the area, yet we were just minutes from all the local attractions.This home had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled trip. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect family vacation

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely perfect! The cabin itself was beautiful—immaculate, cozy, and thoughtfully set up for comfort. One of the highlights for our family was the deer feed stand, which brought in so many animals each day—our kids were thrilled to watch them up close. The wrap-around porch and fire pit were perfect for relaxing evenings; we honestly felt like we never needed to leave the property. The creek out back was great for fishing, and the kids had a blast.Jim, the host, went above and beyond—he was super responsive and even helped us connect with a local photographer for a family photo shoot, which turned out amazing. This place was everything we hoped for and more. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway

We went for a birthday and the house was perfect! The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Jim was great and gave us a heads up to the snowy weather we were going to experience while there. We would definentley stay her again!

Perfect Family Getaway

My whole family decided to spend some much needed time together for the first time in a very long time. This cabin was perfect. The combination of dedicated bedrooms and a bunk area worked out amazingly. The overall layout was nice. The cabin was beautiful and super cozy. We loved every minute of it. Oh and I cannot forget the provided cookies and smores kit. We absolutely enjoyed those and the smores kit made an extra special memory for my family. This cabin had everything we needed!

The "Lazy Horse" is a Thoroughbred!

My wife and our friends have travelled to Broken Bow for many years and without a doubt the Lazy Horse Lodge is our new favorite place to stay! Jim and his family should teach a masterclass in owning a VRBO property. From booking to checkout, we received the absolute BEST communication and experience. Check-in was a breeze, and the cabin was even more beautiful in person. Lots of room and amenities, games, seating, comfy beds, spotless clean from top to bottom, and the welcome cookies and smore kit was a nice touch. Plenty of dry wood for the fire pit, hot tub with a stunning and totally private view of the forest and creek, and a very well laid out kitchen. If you are a frequent vacation home visitor, I'm sure that you have learned to expect a hiccup or two along the way. Maybe the hot tub isn't quite warmed up... no extra toilet paper... a lengthy and complex house manual that has so too many rules and instruction... Maybe the owners took a little bit of creative liberty in their photos making the house seem larger or more secluded than it truly is? Not with the Lazy Horse Lodge - It was everything and MORE than what was advertised! Words simply cannot express how perfect our stay was - and how much we enjoyed this beautiful and welcoming property. We will be booking again and again - and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed if you stay here. Thank you Jim and family for hosting us and sharing this slice of paradise & relaxation!

Lazy Horse Lodge - Excellent

The property is excellent. Very clean and safe for families. The hospitality of Jim and July is amazing. They ensured every small details are taken care of. Jim's immediate response to each and every text from me is highly appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and I will strongly recommend this property for any family considering a vacation in Beavers Bend / Broken Bow.

Needed a break from reality

We wanted a cozy get a way with a few out door activities. Lazy Horse was as cozy and comfortable as it gets. Beds were soft and comfortable. Throws and blankets were provided and so soft. Living area furniture was the best. Great location with short drive to the lake and trails. The kids loved exploring the creek. The cabin was very clean with everything provided to make a great vacation. We had deer show up in the back and the front through out the day.

Best of Broken Bow!

We had an amazing time staying at the Lazy Horse Lodge, Jim was an incredible host and was always available and super friendly and helpful. The cabin was immaculate, fire pit was perfect, and the kids had a blast exploring the creek in the back and using the hot tub. The location is also perfect for exploring Broken Bow, minutes from the Marina and Broken Bow Lake and the mining and mini golf. The space was perfect for our family of five plus grandparents, had a blast and plan on coming back!

Moms trip 50th birthday

Photos were accurate and home was very clean. Lots of attention to detail and nice touches such as fresh, chocolate chip cookies and a smores station to greet us upon arrival. Lots of games and space to spread out. Most of our time was spent hanging out on the spacious patio when we were not in town enjoying the sites. We did have coffee maker stop working while we were there and Jim promptly answered and had us a new machine within a couple of hours. Jim is a very attentive host and we had a wonderful time. I would consider staying there again.
