This 600 sq. ft. cabin is located on a quiet street, just minutes from Historic Downtown Bristol, Hard Rock Casino, 1-81, The Pinnacle Shopping, and plenty of great hiking spots nearby. The Bristol Motor Speedway is less than 10 miles away, and the Virginia Creeper Trail is a short 20 minute drive. Follow us on IG @overlookcabinbristolva. The cabin was originally built in 1926, but underwent complete renovation in 2022. It features pine hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings, new furnishings, and a full kitchen with a Keurig Coffee maker. The living room features a reclining leather sofa, gas fireplace, and a 50” Roku TV with Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO MAX. The bedroom features a queen bed with a memory foam mattress, a 32” Roku TV, and a private balcony overlooking Downtown Bristol and the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a charcoal grill, gas grill, and wood burning fire pit in the backyard.

One small set of stairs is required to enter
The mountain/valley view is not as visible during summer months due to the tree growth

Cute Little Spot. Big Character!

The stay was overall alot of fun and a good spot! We will definitely be back when we can! We didnt bring pets but its shown as pet friendly on the website and maintains that once you arrive! Faves: well stocked w essentials, very clean, record player and amazing selection of records, back fireplace area. Close to everything we wanted to see, the walls are covered in amazing memorabilia from the area, charcoal and a gas grill available, tons of firewood too. I would feel safe staying here as a solo female if I wanted to im this area. Side balcony access from bedroom! Things to think about: there isnt any actual steps to the back sitting area. Just gravel so be careful if you are mobility challenged. As well as the steps down to the walkway to the front are slightly steep as well for anyone mobility challenged! We are not. Just something I thought about! Overall would 20/10 reccomend! Josh is great. Hes helpful. And makes sure you have anything you need and responds quickly.

We enjoyed our stay

Our dogs and us loved our stay. We loved all the decor! The front door lighting outside could be brighter- difficult to see to key the lock. However, inside, shower water pressure was not good- very difficult to get shampoo out of my wife’s hair. Hot water heater may need to be turned up a little also! We also found it difficult to only have 3 wash cloths to shower with- towels were fine because they could dry and be re- used. We did not wash the sheets or towels etc when we left because we didn’t see it on the list of things that needed to be done so we figured you wanted to do that yourselves to be sure they were clean.
