Refreshed and restored

It was only one night but staying in a terraced room overlooking the lake we were fully refreshed for a full day ahead. Breakfast was excellent and my food allergies well catered for.

The room was difficult to reach, especially with luggage. Also, I had to return to the desk twice to have a new key cut, which was very inconvenient based on how far away the room was. Hotel is very nice and the room was great, but accessibility was difficult.

Lovely hotel, and lovely stay. A few negative; You have you pay to use the pool. This should be complimentary during your stay. Air con didn’t work, so room was very warm. Very noisy, with people shouting in the corridor

An excellent choice for our stay to attend an event in the area. Lovely rooms, fresh milk a bonus for the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Would use again and definitely recommend .

Unfortunate timing of our trip

Unfortunately we were woken up twice by a very loud, aggressive kick on the door in the middle of the night. My children were terrified. This made me question safety of the hotel as anyone is able to walk through the corridors. Day time reception staff was very helpful in regards to the incident and I could not praise them enough.
