Absolutely stellar property in a stellar location. So why 3 stars? Because wifi is totally unusable, and if you're a business traveler requiring internet for work, this a total waste, which is a shame for otherwise a 5 star place.

XXL Large unit for a single room booking and nice decore but in main bedroom the lights were a dull orange bulb, air con didn’t reach bedroom so tried fan which didn’t help much either. Lights through to tv room/living room also needed bulbs replaced, flickering constantly. Wifi wouldn’t connect (was working for a few minutes then after trying to reconnect 10 times or more, it would ‘connect’ but drop off straight away. **Was locked out of apartment for an hour due to the hallway/ unit door swipe card access’s point batteries dying. **

No hot water from shower.Blood mark on the duvet

Hot water from shower is not available when I arrived at 8 PM in the first night. I have opened the tap for more than 10 mins and still only cold water. Nightmare after a long day. Left the message to the host on the platform. Hot water becomes available second day. But still no one comes back to me what has happened . When I checked out, the reception girl told me “ they will look into it” . Now 10 hours has passed, no one contacts me. Also there is blood mark on the duvet…not good

Incredible Value for an Apartment Hotel.

Absolutely beautiful historic property with an unbeatable location in the Brisbane CBD. These are apartments, so you'll have a fully equipped kitchen and ensuite laundry. There's a Woolworths next door for anything you'll need to stock up the kitchen, but you've got lots of options nearby too. Perfect for longer stays, but even for the couple of nights I was there, it was unbeatable value. Make sure to check out the MacArthur Museum in the building to learn more about the fantastic history of this property.

Hotel was quiet and spacious. But wifi was terrible and room needs to be refurbished. But main concern was with check-in: it would have saved a great deal of stress and confusion if we’d been told the check-in procedures before beginning our trip - at least a day in advance. As it was, we arrived at the hotel with reception closed, no wifi, no phone linked to a local network. We were lucky to even get into the lobby. It was only through some creativity we were able to find out how to access our room key, and after a stressful period of uncertainty. This was not a good start to our stay.

Great location, clean and spacious rooms. Front desk was unwilling to hold bags. Despite paying over 300 AUD a night, the 4 occupants in a 3 bathroom apartment received 2 cake soaps and 2 shampoos. Better attitude from the staff and less stinginess with minor items would have made for a better experience.
