The property and the room was beautiful, clean and a lovely step back in time. Unfortunately the website stated shared cooking facilities and a BBQ were available, which was not the case. We purchased grocceries to cook, which we had to waste. There is a shared microwave and a small bar fridge in the rooms. Definitely would return, but not to cook!

Bath towels and washers were damp. There were no hand towels or soap, which were provided on request. Breakfast was ok, coffee was good. Returning to our room for a shower, there was no hot water due to failure of the hot water system. Maybe we were just unlucky but the handling of these matters was very casual.

Te customer service is very helpful and friendly. They make a big effort at breakfast to make sure you are served quickly and enough food. Parking is easy onsite. There are stairs to get to the room, but they are willing to assist with baggage if required

I loved this property. The room was large, the bathroom roomy. The bed was comfy. It was wonderfully quaint. Be warned though - there are lots of stairs. I had recently broken my foot - so it was not an easy entry and exit.
