My partner and I stayed one night at the Bribie Island Hotel. Check in was easy. The room itself was clean and everything you need for a short stay. The location is great being right across the beach. We had an undercover car park which was great given the time of year with storms etc. My only criticism would be that the room is very dated and dark.

Very friendly, accommodating manager and staff when I was in a highly distressed state. Not encouraging others to go here for THAT purpose. I did not act appropriately towards end of my stay. At all. I would not expect them to accommodate anyone's behavior the way they did mine. I'd had just come from an extremely traumatic experience and my behavior was 100% unacceptable. A support worker had to explain my circumstances. They were extremely compassionate given that they didn't have to be. Do not think for a second you can go there and behave in the completely disrespectful and threatening way I did. It will not be tolerated. I had to be hospitalised as a result of my behavior. Traumatised or not; no excuse. My behaviour was not my usual self. My support worker explained this. I am just very thankful that nothing further was done to reprimand me for my behavior. It had to be explained to me as I couldn't remember any of it. I'm ashamed. And I sincerely apologise. It was declared Acute Psychosis. Yes; there was reason behind it. But it had 100% NOTHING to do with the hotel, management or other staff. Thank you to the hotel for being compassionate when realistically, they had absolutely no reason to be. From what was relayed to me by my support worker, who knew it was 100% out of character for me? They had every reason to place me under arrest. They did EVERYTHING they could to try and help me. My mental state had gone beyond any state of acceptable conduct

Had a deserted forlorn look about it . The rooms were very clean but there was no sign of any service and the accommodation area gave the impression of being on its last legs. We would never stay there again

What a great little motel! The room was very comfortable, clean and really nicely decorated, and came with a cute breakfast pack. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the pub was great for a nice meal. I'd stay here again.
