Beautiful home--seems almost brand new. Very spacious, great for large families like ours. The property is wooded and very scenic. The area is great for hiking, very easy to find and reach trails.

Perfect for an intimate retreat

I hosted a 5 day intensive retreat for 14 psychology coach practitioners and this place was perfect. Excellent outdoor space for bonfires & hikes down the river and even a chapel seating for an outdoor wedding ceremony on the river plus the indoor spaces were spacious, full of light and bright. There are 4 master bedrooms (8 people can fit) which was great and the only issue, I would say is the 5th bedroom has 8 bunk beds which is more made for kids but we managed! Iwould definitely stay here again!

Great Place for a Family Vacation!

We had a fantastic stay! The home is beautifully laid out and well-equipped — plenty of spacious bedrooms and bathrooms made it perfect for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was great. The location is ideal, with quick access to outdoor activities, and the property itself is fun to explore. Communication with the host was smooth and easy throughout. Highly recommend — we’d love to come back!

Snow time

We only spent two nights at the Sandy house but the kids packed it in! The living space with open kitchen/dining room/living area was the best. All the rooms were spacious The only disappointment was the bareness of kitchen supplies—it would be nice to have a few basics like tin foil and plastic wrap so we didn’t have to go to the storeThe fun in the snow was awesome, thank you!

Great stay for a group.

It was a great house, lots of space and nice to have so many bathrooms with a group. We were here during a busy holiday time and unfortunately the kitchen was pretty dirty when we checked in. Lots of crumbs and sticky floors. And dirty laundry in the laundry room. We were told this was due to it being holiday times but we paid a lot of extra money to stay at a peak time. We also had someone there at 9:30am waiting for us to leave and telling us they needed to start cleaning.

Beautiful home

Just as it looks. Beautiful. Large comfy rooms, very spacious. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of settings for all our family…4 families. Beds for everyone. Fantastic outdoor porch/deck and hot tub area. Lots of space and seating. Extra ‘den’ was perfect for the kids to play games and watch movies. Kitchen is large, with ample counter space for our Thanksgiving feast. Double ovens helped with that as well! Everyone loved the full side by side fridge and freezer. So much storage. Nice location, some walking trails, and super close to the local grocery store. Very convenient. Would definitely book again.

Perfect for a retreat!

I hosted a women’s retreat here with a private chef. Nice to have so many bathrooms and bedrooms. And we love the large dining table and hot tub! The short walk to Sandy River is in our backyard. We drove to Multnomah (1hour) and hiked the 5 mile loop, hiked Sahale/umbrella falls and Old Salmon River. All 3 hikes very different. We also went to Mt Hood and Grateful Winery. Distance to airport in just over an hour. Easy to get to places but the house if off the beaten path which I loved. Very peaceful.

Great Friends Getaway

The home is stunning and offers a lot of space for a large group. It looks even better in real life than in the photos. Nice storage room upfront for all your ski gear at the end of the day. There is abundant light throughout, but be sure to bring your eye mask for sleep.
