The grand view room by the lake is a cozy getaway with a feeling of a loft, with heating, WiFi, and more, this place has everything you need for a pleasant getaway. Located on the scenic banks of the Croton watershed. About 1 hour from NYC, it's in the third fl. of an 1850 farmhouse with a kitchenette , bath/skylight, 12 windows & glass doors, working space area, private entrance by the pool/ a big seating and lounging area with tranquil views of the lake, 2 balconies, king size bed +single daybed. Pets are not allowed and could be considered on a daily basis, maximum of one pet to protect the integrity of the carpet.
For entertainment, guests can enjoy Smart TVs. Other standard amenities include kitchenettes, washing machines, and balconies. Change of towels is available on request.

My partner and I had the most lovely weekend here. The space was exactly as it seems in the photographs: light, bright, comfortable and impeccably clean. Orestes is a wonderful host who is very warm and welcoming to his guests, and you may just leave his home having made a new friend! He offers breakfast to his guests on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and each of them were made with fresh ingredients including items from his garden! If you're looking to book a stay here, don't hesitate for even a moment! We will absolutely be back. Thank you, Orestes (And Spot, too!)!

This was one of my favorite Air B&Bs. Orest was fantastic! He was very nice and helpful! We had breakfast both days of our stay and both were beautifully plated and delicious. The views were stunning and the loft was exactly as pictured. Orest even brought fresh flowers. The bed and little couch were comfortable and we had everything we need. We would definitely stay again!As far as the pool - the reviews wouldn’t let me skip answering it since the pool was closed when we were there. I gave it 5 stars based on what I saw… the pool was closed and covered properly. The area was neat and clean and I saw the pool vacuum off to the side. We have the same one so I know that vacuum does a good job.

We had a wonderful time on our visit. The location was picturesque and quiet. Accommodations were beautiful. There were so many personal touches. Fresh flowers from Orestes our host, decorated the bathroom and the dining area. Such a quaint space. And so clean and comfortable. Truly loved looking through the amazing artwork of our host. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was top notch! We only wished we could stay longer. Thank you Orestes for making our stay memorable. Jim and Vicki

The property was very lovely with a great location on the lake. The community was very charming and low paced. Orestes was a great host and the breakfasts were outstanding. Quick Getaway

A lovely, quiet, renovated, quaint property that combines antique charms and modern conveniences. Serene pool that overlooks the lake, and backs up to a lush yard and forest! What more could you ask for? A fenced property for our city doggie to stretch her legs - she was in heaven. Our host cooked us a delicious breakfast which included homade pesto (from his garden!) and homade granola... divine. We just stayed two nights but it was the quiet, quick qetaway we needed to unwind. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Orestes, for your fantastic hospitality!

Great cozy loft and peaceful location!

We visited for a weekend getaway and loved the loft! It was super cozy and comfortable with everything you need and beautiful natural light. With a private entrance from the pool you have your own space and privacy. The pool and yard were lovely and I started the day sitting on a bench overlooking the water in peaceful silence. The owner is super responsive and gave us great dinner recommendations! I had my small dogs and they also loved the yard!
