Room was old and worn. There was blood on the sofa and burn holes in the sheets ( we found them the next morning). All the chrome fixtures were corroded, the towels had worn areas on them and the white washcloths were grey. Was a king suite, was a twin room with a bad king bed and a table and chairs placed in it.

First, I inadvertently booked two rooms in error. Upon realizing this, I attempted to address the situation promptly. Further, I did not receive the handicap-accessible room I had specifically requested and needed. Accessibility was a key factor in my booking decision, and the lack of appropriate accommodations significantly impacted our ability to proceed with the stay. Taken together, these circumstances were unforeseen, outside of my control, and not based on personal preference or convenience. For these reasons, I respectfully believe the cancellation was warranted but I've still not heard from management and told not refundable. I value Travel Guard as a provider and appreciate your time and consideration. I kindly ask that the claim be reviewed again in light of this additional clarification. Parking was easy, it was off-season. The driveway was hard to navigate from the main road (approaching from the freeway), as the left hand turn into the property didn't seem possible; had to go further to make u-turn. Property is up the hill from the freeway about a mile, quiet area. Room was reasonable for the price.

The check in clerk was perfect! Friendly and helpful. The room was NOT clean. While showering, I noticed what appeared to be a booger on the soap dispenser. Afterwards, I was going to make a cup of coffee, I noticed another one INSIDE the water reservoir of the brew machine. GROSS!

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast isn’t very good, but there are plenty of places close by to get a better breakfast. That said, my room was less than $60 a night, I can’t complain about the food. Hampton Inn has a good breakfast I’m told, and to get it you pay $175 a night. I’ll stick with the Quality Inn at $60 and eat at McDonalds or Jacks.
