Cozy ski chalet 1/2 mile from Main Street, Great Location
Our charming chalet sleeps 4 people very comfortably. Located on a sunny wooded 1 acre lot, guests love the close proximity to town/lifts, private hot tub, and wood fireplace. Our home is in a neighborhood, it is NOT a remote cabin. There is ample parking, a full kitchen, laundry, and satellite TV. A great place for mountain getaways. Couples, families (with children older than 3), and low-key people will find it a perfect match.
Our typical quiet residential neighborhood is currently not so quiet on our street (this update September 2025). There are 2 homes being built with construction noise during the day. The house beside us (towards town) was removed and they are building a new house on that spot. Currently, they are framed in and roof is completed. We are not sure how noisy it will be during your requested dates. The house on the corner is farther along. Please be comfortable with construction noise and trucks, during the day, if you make a reservation request.
The chalet is light and bright with high ceilings and many windows. Living room has a wood fireplace and sliding doors to the deck and hot tub. Fabulous stargazing from deck and hot tub. The hot tub in on the front desk facing the road (see photos). Fully equipped kitchen, wi-fi, and smart TV. Washer and dryer in basement. Fully furnished including linens.
There is one king bed, one queen bed and one single mattress. Mattresses are firm with pillow tops. We are firm about renting to a max of 4 people. Please do not send a reservation request if your group has the potential of more than 4 people, including children, or you need 4 beds (the living room sectional sofa is not an option for sleeping).
NO SMOKING/VAPING and NO DRUGS on the entire property, inside or outside (including marijuana). WE ARE HIGHLY SENSITIVE TO SMOKE, smoke smell on clothing, cigarette butts in trash - please choose another property if anyone is your group (or anyone who may visit you) is a smoker. We will confirm this when accepting a reservation request. If you have questions, please send them an inquiry NOT a reservation request.
PLEASE READ THIS: We are on property most weekdays (usually not on weekends) in the basement apartment. It has a back, private entrance (see photos) and you may not know anyone is around except if you see us parking a car. The main house is very private and you can make yourselves completely at home. Sending a reservation request means that you are comfortable with Owners On Property!
When booking properties in the mountains, it is highly recommended to purchase cancellation insurance to cover all cancellation risks: mountain weather conditions that could delay or block your arrival, unforeseen life events, tragedies, health issues, family situations etc. The cancellation policy for this property is 60 days prior to arrival and dates are not transferable and can not be gifted to others. Note: refunds for cancellations less that 60 days are only available to guests who purchase cancellation insurance. Select this option when entering payment information.

If you have a car there is a parking space, and a 3 minute drive gets you to the Breckenridge Resort gondola (or the free bus will take you there twice an hour). Other ski resorts (Copper Mountain, Keystone, Vail, Arapahoe Basin, and Loveland Pass) are within a short drive. Breckenridge is 105 miles from Denver International Airport.
