We did a multigenerational family gathering including 6 kids and 7 adults, this was the BEST place for all of us! Clean, spacious, and stocked with amenities I didn’t even know I needed (automatic lights in the butler pantry?! Yeah it’s awesome) Pretty typically we pack an extra AppleTV to bring on trips so we can watch our stuff, not needed here though every one of the TVs had its own AppleTV w remote. Can you imagine what it’s like to watch a gaggle of kids play in the pool on a 50 degree day? Chilly right? NOPE, multiple high output heaters surround the perimeter of the pool deck and make any day feel toasty. You can leave all your beach toys home too. Every imaginable shape of sand mold, size of bucket, shovel are in the garage along with bikes, paddle boards, a kayak and more. While the parents watched football and planned excursions the kids were either in the pool, or playing one of a dozen games provided by the hosts. There’s something for everyone. Our hosts were throughly gracious and had prompt responses for any of our questions. 15/10 can’t wait to stay again!!! Certainly The Stumbling Iguana will be the benchmark against which all future VRBO stays are measured.

Our family was in town for a wedding and staying at the Stumbling Iguana was such a highlight for us! This house has been so thoughtfully appointed with everything you could possibly need. The pool area is amazing! We enjoyed swimming, hot tubbing and watching college football games on all the TV’s. The house is new, clean and spacious. We would definitely book this home again!

Beautiful house! Loved the lay out of the house, and the pool was amazing. Loved the swim up bar, corn hole, board games and the outdoor golf!Definitely staying here next trip to Florida! Also, had great conversation with the owners… super helpful!

Perfect Stay in Paradise!This home was everything we hoped for and more! The location in Cortez is absolutely perfect—close to everything, and the water access was ideal for keeping our boat. The house itself was beyond amazing… beautifully decorated, fully stocked, and thoughtfully designed with every detail in mind.We comfortably fit multiple families, and the chef’s kitchen made it so easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The pool area was a hit with the kids and adults alike, and the paddle boards were such a fun bonus!Truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had—we’re already dreaming about our next trip back!

The Stumbling Iguana Does Not Disappoint!

We have stayed at several vacation rentals, and the Stumbling Iguana does not disappoint! We had a multi-generational group (including great-grandparents) of 11 across 5 nights. The house was incredibly well appointed, and the hosts seem to have thought of literally everything. We spent a majority of our time in the outdoor pool area. The basketball hoop was great for the younger and older folks. The shallow sitting area was great for the grandparents to be in the water close by to hang out with everyone. The location also cannot be beat. Yes, this house is not on the beach, but even with Saturday mid-morning traffic, the nearest beach is only a 15 minute drive (7 minutes on Monday with normal traffic).

SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!

We had an amazing vacation and one of the best parts was this fabulous house! The hosts thought of every detail to make us comfortable and relaxed. Our young grandchildren were thrilled to play golf, swim and fish from the dock. The house was spotless upon arrival and we immediately felt at home! We hope to be back!!

No need to leave the house

I can't even begin to describe how amazing this place it! We took our adult children, their spouses and two grandkids. The set up was perfect! Everyone had their own king bed and bathroom and the kids had the most amazing kids room with bunk beds and their own bathroom too. The owners thought of everything, from luxurious bathrooms, to well stocked kitchen to chargers by the beds, there was nothing spared. We happened to be there during a cold snap but still found lots to do. We loved the basketball in the garage and managed to play pretty much all the games they stocked the place with. We rode bikes and swam in the pool and soaked in the hot tub (and during the cold days, the hot tub was the pool for the kids :) ). The ice machine was a big hit as was the outdoor kitchen and grill. The kids loved swimming up to the bar and the shallow spot in the pool was perfect for the toddler. The host was SO communicative and helpful. The house is very 'smart' and he kept us comfortable from his phone at a moments notice. We rented a boat for a few of the days and getting in and out was a breeze and lots of fun. This place was perfect for our group and worth every penny!! We loved the location too and would highly recommend the all you can eat pancakes at the anna maria beach cafe!

This is a truly extraordinary property, and it exceeded every expectation! This high-end, multi-generational home offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and entertainment, making it the ideal retreat for families or groups looking to make unforgettable memories. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were blown away by the thoughtful design and impeccable cleanliness of the house. There was plenty of space for everyone, with beautifully appointed bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms, and multiple living areas that allowed us to relax in style. The outdoor area is spectacular, featuring a heated pool with a swim-up bar, an oversized spa, a grill, ping pong, mini-golf, and four big-screen TVs. Every detail of this home is designed with comfort and convenience in mind, from the multiple charging stations and infrared heaters to the high-speed WiFi and well-stocked coffee bar. The home is spotless and very well-equipped – every amenity we could think of was readily available. One unexpected highlight was riding the provided bikes to pick up groceries nearby – a fun way to explore the area! The location is a boater’s dream, with a dock accommodating large boats and easy access to the Gulf. We appreciated the host’s clear communication and flexibility regarding the boat lift and other features. In every sense, this property is a dream come true. Highly recommended – you won’t want to leave!

Fantastic Vacation

Our family enjoyed a week at this home and it was everything we expected and more! The pool was fabulous, the amenities were top notch, the location provided easy access to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We enjoyed the private dock and the ability to rent a boat to cruise on the water. We would absolutely stay at this home again in the future.
