Great Location

This was our first trip to AMI. Property appears older but well maintained and clean. I was worried about how far the walk is to the beach but convenient road crossing was helpful (take a wagon though !). Favorite part of the property is being on the first floor and in direct view of the bay. Saw 3 dolphins close the evening we checked in.

2 week vacation

Check in was easy. the condo was very clean and well stocked. The view from the back porch was spectacular, especially at sunrise. The location was great, just a short walk across a small street with a crosswalk. You can walk to several restaurants in the area, Smoque and Vinnie's were a couple of our favorites. Beach towels and chairs were provided and it was nice having a washer/dryer in the unit.

A few issues

Great location. Master bedroom bed was horrible. Master bathroom had bugs. When I called about the bugs I was told they exterminated outside and that’s why we saw them inside. I was told to call if we saw anymore and she would see if they could have an exterminator do inside the unit, the answer should have been we will get someone over there. We did not bother to call when we saw more because of her answer and we only had 2 days left. Will not stay here again

Needs updated BAD...CLEANED and sprayed for BUGS

FIRST the view from this place was amazing BUT the screen on back porch was ripped from the top to the bottom so that let in even more bugs that already existed in the unit. Wires were exposed right outside of our back door that look as if they were buried at one point. None of the the outlets would hold your hair dryer or curling iron. When you had anything plugged in you have to hold it in the outlet and try to dry or curl your hair using one hand. . We opened the doors to wash towels 2nd day and the whole door feel off. Maintaince did come over and put a new track on the door the 3rd day to fix it. The glass shower door in the master would not slide shut unless you helped slide the roller on the top track Maintenance was made aware of it on our 2nd day there and looked at it and advised it was very dangerous and told us to be careful with it. Wasn't fixed before we left either. BUGS in the kitchen under the burners of the flat burners. There was a half eaten cookie in the walk in closet floor and the floors in master bathroom were never cleaned before we got there covered in sand. The decor is VERY dated. Bedding in master was very old and worn. I ended up using other blankets. Pool was amazing and it was close to beach access.

One week stay at Run Away Bay

Property location was good. We enjoyed the peaceful setting on the rear patio. Kitchen needs upgrading. Small maintenance issues Need addressing Bath light switch was broken Master bath sink drain clogged Electrical outlets are so worn that plugs just about fall out One important safety issue is there are no GFCI safety outlets in the bathrooms and kitchens Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The community is lovely.
