Very clean unit for our group of 10. Exactly as described, excellent location, a block away from beach and historic Bridge Street with many restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. Christmas Day on AMI beaches was great, weather cooperated too which made the trip even more enjoyable

Location Location

Perfect location! Walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars, and ice cream! Pool area was so nice with TVs and plenty of seating. Will definitely plan to stay here again!

Great stay at Family Tides

Overall, the house was as advertised. Plenty of space both inside and out. Proximity to beach, restaurants and bars was great. Pool was awesome, as was the covered entertainment area by the pool. Hope to be back again some day!

Great location - walk to restaurants and shops and the beach. Pool was great - lots of pool and beach toys. Very nice house. Would rent again if ever in that area.

Awesome Multi-generational Family Vacation Home

The listing on VRBO was extremely thorough and accurate. The property was perfect for 11 adults and two toddlers (ages 4-92). The pool area was ideal for family dinners (grills, refrigerators, bars, tables and TVs). The roof top deck with Adirondack chairs was perfect for watching the sunrises and sunsets. The location was awesome - close to the beach, Bridge Street shops, restaurants and bars. The host was very responsive to our questions and inquiries prior to arrival and during our stay. We had the best time!

Great experience and perfect for our family!

We had an amazing time on Anna Maria Island staying at Family Tides! The property is in a perfect location, right next to Bridge Street, a 3 minute walk to the beach and even a short walk to parasailing. This is both convenient and saves on expensive parking. The kitchen's are well supplied which made it very easy for meal planning with a large family. All appliances were modern and in good shape. The pool was clean and perfect for swimming day or night and a great for switch-up from enjoying the ocean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Anna Maria Island!

Great Location

Such a beautiful vacation rental! The spacious layout makes it easy for groups to stay and feel like you have your own space but cozy enough to feel like home for the week with all of the essentials. Even if the easy 5 minute walk to the beach isn't your thing, you always have the 3 min walk to Bridge Street with all the shops and restaurants. The backyard with pool was perfect for a relaxing dip after a hot day at the beach. The island itself is beautiful and offers so much as well with plenty of places walking distance and an easy free trolley ride to explore more. We had an amazing time enjoying the house and island with family and friends and cannot wait to come back!

Becautiful stay

Had a family trip with ages ranging from 60 down to 1 year old! Location is perfect! Many places to walk to for food, drinks and beach! Pool was nice, the outdoor bar area had ceiling fans for evening games and the outdoor shower was nice to have after beach days. We did get bitten by some apparent No see ums even with bug spray they seemed to go for the lower unit guests (maybe we are just sweeter)Beautiful very loud green parrots visited daily we also got some visits from the small lizards, grandson loved them! Towels provided and linens were a nice touch when traveling by plane. We reserved beach items from once upon a beach and they were utilized every day. A memorable vacation with lifetime memories!

Family Tides Delivers Cleanliness and FUN

We loved our stay! It was perfect for multiple families traveling together! The location is superb for beach, Bridge Street dining and shopping. The pool and patio area was private and a great place for after beach swimming and relaxing. The units were clean and Once Upon a Beach was exceptional to work with from start to finish. Will work with them again for sure! The only minor thing is that the property could really use some hooks in the bathrooms and by the door for towels, swim suits etc! Until next year AMI! We're so glad to hear the home worked perfectly for your group and that you were able to enjoy the beach, Bridge Street, and time relaxing by the pool together. Beautiful Home!

The home is lovely and perfect for a family or large group. We were a group of nine girls and each of us had plenty of space between the two units. My favorite part is that it was across the street from the beach access and one street over from a convenience store, shops, restaurants, bars and even a putt putt golf course. We walked everywhere on the island and the only time we used our cars was to go to Publix. The rooftop deck provides an awesome view of the sunrise and sunset or you can watch the sunset on the beach and the sunrise on the pier at the end of the street. The pool and the outdoor space was awesome and the host has tons of beach equipment for you to use (chairs, wagons, umbrellas and sand toys). Everyone in our group loved the house and if we ever go back, we would book this home again.

Family Tides A and B both units

We have been coming to Anna Maria for 8 or 9 years. Stayed up north side and down on on Bradenton side. Personally I think this may have been my favorite house because I liked the pool I liked the area around the pool. We came with a large group of people so that kept mess down out of house as well as a great gathering place for grilling and hanging out. My brother in law really loved the roof top deck. With all the different areas it gave us enough space to be able to get away from one another. So togetherness with out feeling like you are trapped lol. Anyways the location was great right across road from beach and close to bay close to many restaurants and shopping. With in walking distance I mean. House itself had some cosmetic issues but nothing that I minded. So for a place that had all that it did was able to accommodate a large group of people and wasn't crazy expensive or completely unaffordable for the average families it's a 10 out of 10! Also the house had a lot of beach stuff in a room downstairs and for renting they company gives you credit towards beach gear which was a pleasant surprise we took advantage of. If I had to make a recommendation I would add a water hose to the beach supply room area of ver there to keep sand washed off away from the walking area and be able to rinse stuff off. Great place though also enjoyed working with this company they were very helpful Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review! We're absolutely delighted to hear that this was one of your favorite homes after many years of visiting Anna Maria. It's wonderful to know the pool area, rooftop deck, and multiple gathering spots helped create the perfect mix of togetherness and personal space for your group. Perfect spot!

We stayed for 4 nights with 2 families. The house was beautiful. The pool & bar area was our favorite spot to hang out together. The beach access was unbeatable. There was a full storage closet of beach toys, umbrellas, chairs - such a nice touch! Would recommend -10 out of 10!

It was worth it!

Loved this house! It's exactly as described... great location within walking distance to shops, food, night life, the beach (although the ocean water was cold in March). Perfect for two families! It was clean, the beds were comfortable and we had more than enough room for seven. The pool was perfect; private! We will stay there again!
