The hotel is perfectly nice - room and bed comfortable. It is a bit tired and worn looking and maybe a refurb of the upstairs/bedrooms would be good. Carpets in corridors not great. A bit noisy from the road outside (I was in a room facing the road). Plus points are very nice little swimming pool - not too crowded. Staff all pleasant and friendly.

Good location

Our family room was a little dated but clean and tidy. Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room especially during the recent hot weather but otherwise ok. Breakfast was self service which is fine however a fried egg would have been nice instead of scrambled each day. The pool area was very warm and again needs a bit of an update but on the whole our stay was satisfactory.

Lovely stay! Large family room. The children enjoyed the swimmimg pool and used it both days. Cheap 24 hour parking. Couldnt fault. Will return.

BASIC BASIC BASIC!!! AVOID! Stick to Premier Inn

Booked two rooms £168 a night, one room for two nights one room for 1 night so over £500 , Firstly Receptionist trying to tell me card had been declined online and I had to pay again! so had to prove that I had paid..not a good start! She also needs to smile a bit, as rude ..first impressions and all that! They also don’t tell you at time of booking that £10 a night for parking so we parked on the road but a bit worried for our car as there was evidence of two car windows smashed! The room was like staff accommodation from the 80’s absolute disgrace, there’s obviously a problem with the roof as damp patches everywhere and trying to cover up rotten wood with bad filling. There must have been a tall person who put the mirror up in the bathroom as I could only see the top of my head in it, I am 5’3, paintwork very tired and need some bleach in that bath!! we only stayed one night, didn’t even check into the other room then booked into a Premier Inn in Cardiff, even had to get out of Bournemouth as the west cliff stressed me out.. this hotel could take some lessons from the premier inn!

We had a great stay, the staff were amazing, Josh on reception was the first staff member that we met. He could see I was struggling with my cases and came to my rescue. Both myself and my husband have mobility issues. Josh made such a great first impression, and from that moment we were not disappointed. The accessible room was fantastic, the breakfast was second to none. We will definitely be returning, we felt totally pampered.

All the staff were great, very friendly and nice to my kids. Pool warm and very nice. Family room spacious, bed comfy, not a great view! Good breakfast but could offer more than scrambled eggs and more fruit. Location is good, short walk to lovely beach.

As a boundless.co.uk member, you get free parking, use of spa and late checkou. Manager at reception demanded money from my daughter as we had booked late checkout (She actually stated that unless we book direct with the hotel, there are no free parking, no free spa service or free late checkout. Told her this was incorrect. When I got home I called Boundless and was told Hotel manager was wrong with every point. Boundless will be contacting the hotel manager receptionist to advise her on the rules. This happened on my nephews 10th birthday and the day was ruined. Boundless.co.uk were brilliant, the lady knew the conditions of Westcliff hotel on her finger tips

Very dirty room, we booked large room for four people. Really horrid damp smell that I later realised was the carpet bellow the air conditioning unit, When it kept me up most of the night dripping on to the floor. The room also had visible wet walls and a very cracked ceiling. Staff were really good, and great with the children too. Food was fine. Spa facilities very good. Overall way over priced as there’s no way I’d live in the conditions our room was in.

Staycationing in Bournemouth 😍

It was amazing and a walking distance to the sandy beach which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was lovely and varied. The room was a good size and lovely however my husband and I got two single beds in our room which was unexpected. The shower space was small with a bar on the side which my husband bumped into. It was our first trip to Bournemouth and we enjoyed it. Thank fully, it was not during the heatwave otherwise the fans would not have been adequate. There is need to install AC in the rooms. It was not clear on the hotel website that we had to pay to use the spa. The hotel said Westcliff hotel and spa. The spa experience was pleasant but it needs to be stated clearly that there is an additional cost for the spa. Staff at the hotel and spa were lovely. We were there for two nights but I was allowed to use the spa day ticket for two days. The room was clean and eco friendly. We forgot to redeem the £5 voucher on food and drinks when don’t have your room cleaned for short stays. Best hotel chips that my husband has had in a while. 😃
