Good value in Bourges

Attractive 19 century chateau with good parking on site. But the car park covering is gravel and clay which is very messy when wet. The room while spacious was an obvious and not very attractive carve up or a grand room. Excellent and very helpful and friendly receptionist. Very reasonable price. Would stay again.

Beautiful location

Excellent place to stay, had axworry about time of arrival but phone call to the hotel was reassuring. Spoke to a lovely lady who's English was fantastic, big thank you to Manuela. Quiet, clean and relaxing cannot fault the place.

One of our best stays ever. Mgr Florien picked us up when we could not find the house. Carried our bags upstairs. We got an upgrade to the best room. It was sensational! Booked & recommended a restaurant in Carassonne. An incredible breakfast (11 diff French cheeses!). Incredibly helpful with local knowledge. A chateau size property; lawns, pool. A beautfilly restored chapel. We HAVE to come back. Six stars!!

Very nice stay and excellent value for money. A bit out of town but quiet and good parking. Upon arrival the receptionist was somewhat offhand and ignored me however next morning the breakfast service was superb and friendly. Would stay again.

Amazing proprietor who really enjoyed talking to our children which made a lovely change. The chateau is next to a large lake and only a 10 minutes drive to the centre of Bourges.
