The property’s rustic and cute, tucked away in a canyon. The beds were really comfortable. I enjoyed the sauna. The rooms aren’t that well-maintained (mold in the bathroom). They had a big event with maybe a hundred people and a loud DJ late into the evening (couldn’t drown it out, even in our room). It seems like it’s become a place for community events which is great, but not so great for the guests. Some of the amenities they advertised were out of order. It’s unique and has a lot of potential but wasn’t the place for us, especially at the price (over $300/night).

Just left and planning my next trip back. Loved the well-crafted experience from the comms, setting by the stream, decor, communal spaces, live music and cozy rooms and interesting people passing through. It was a perfect Boulder experience and my fav stay during my trip to CO. Wish I would have stayed here the whole time! Highly recommend.

The photos on their listing are very deceptive. Their reviews are 10/10- also deceiving. The roof was stained as it was a dropped ceiling with disheveled tiles. The bathrooms was old and worn out. This is an old cabin that has newer beds. The TV didn’t work. The rate they charged lead me to believe their hotel would be better. I ended up leaving after one night and paying the exact same rate in a 4 star hotel that was lea than a year old in Denver. a-Lodge wouldn’t refund my 7 day stay either. I understand that usually you have to give at least 24 hour notice for cancellation of unused days. But they didn’t. Any other 4 star hotel will allow you leave early if needed. Not sure how anyone can give a 10/10. Not even 5 star hotels have a perfect rating. I would urge Hotels.com to evaluate the authenticity of their reviews.

The website showed rooms and I booked a (1room great fit sooo travellers ) when I turned up It was a 12 bed door room and no refund was offered it’s a horrible place with no cell coverage and a very hippy vibe there should not be called a hotel .

Booked a shared dorm. The toilets, showers and kitchen were all fine. The bed was very comfy and welcoming after big days of climbing. The absolute highlight of the A lodge is your surroundings, it’s amongst nature, with limited to no signal (don’t worry a lodge has WiFi), close to castle rock and elderado to meet all your climbing and hiking needs

Amazing place. What a great find. Flew in for a hike and to sightsee the area. Used the sauna, hot tub, pool and the river for a cold plunge. We stayed in the cabin, surprisingly spacious, beds were very comfy. Already planning our next stay.

Super friendly staff at both check-in and checkout. My room was quaint and cozy - I especially enjoyed the coffee they provided. The guide indicated the hot tub was open year-round, but it didn’t appear the cover was off/opened up. It was cool outside and I didn’t request them to open it, so perhaps they would have accommodated. It was out of town a bit, quiet and preferred for my stay. The bed was comfortable, I had plenty of hot water for my shower. They had a lovely little guide book in the room with recommendations for adventures, food, drinks, and other things to do in the area. I’ll definitely be booking a return stay when I’m back to visit!

Great place to stay just outside of Boulder in the canyon. Great hot tub and sauna! Room was big and spacious. No restaurant but they had snacks and a bar.
