We liked the place a lot. Lots of space, lots of good local eats and a 20 minute drive into downtown Boston. Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time!!

We had a great stay! The location, unit, and communication with the host were all great. The unit is very clean and comfortable.The host was very understanding when we shared that the noise from the upstairs unit was a bit disruptive, not because the upstairs guests were loud, but because there's little insulation for sound between the 2 units. So normal walking by guests upstairs was a bit loud. It seems the host is working on making this improvement.The only other things we suggest an improvements on are the pots and pans (scratched up teflon) and the soap and shampoo in the bathrooms - they are 1.25 purchases from the local dollar store. These were inconsistent with the rest of the unit and amenities, which were much more high end.All this said, I would stay here again. I really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the host who was very attentive and welcoming.

I recently stayed at this rental home during my visit for a book signing, accompanied by my son, mother, and grandmother. The location and number of rooms initially attracted me, as I needed space for my family. However, our experience was mixed.Upon arrival, my son and I found the house clean and welcoming, which was a positive start. I checked out the two available bedrooms and was pleased with them. However, I was surprised to discover that the third bedroom was locked. Given that I had booked the entire house, I was unsure why access was restricted. After messaging the owner, she reminded me that I had listed four guests, implying that the two rooms with four beds should suffice. I found this reasoning frustrating; it felt like a decision about our accommodations was made without my consent.To make matters worse, when I attempted to use the code provided for the locked bedroom, it didn’t work. The owner then instructed me on where to find the key, creating unnecessary hassle. This lack of access to the full space I paid for was disappointing and left me feeling undervalued as a guest.Additionally, the noise from the apartment above was quite disruptive. The walls and ceilings were thin, making it difficult to relax or have a private conversation without being disturbed.While the owner was responsive to my concerns, her approach to limiting access to a bedroom I had paid for was unsatisfactory. Overall, I appreciated the clean environment and location.

Girlfriends Boston trip

This VRBO met all of our needs and was enjoyed by all. We had plenty of bedding and there is a laundry downstairs if needed. We did not use the metro, just used UBER, it ran about 36 to get downtown. The only general grumble was the living room furniture being uncomfortable.

Great stay and totally safe!

As three women and two teen girls traveling we felt so safe in this apartment. We walked to the T stop which was so close and had a great stay. It’s cute, clean, and comfortable beds.

Nice Place in Transitional Neighborhood

This updated rental is sparkling. The showers/baths are stellar. The living area/kitchen nicely updated. The convenience to the Shawmut station is one of the best features of the rental. However, be aware that this is a flat among other rental flats in a neighborhood that is in transition. In other words, noise is an issue. The rental porch light is not effective so if you are checking in past dark, you'll need extra light. The kitchen is modestly stocked. No coffee shops or eateries close by, tho, you can easily get to them via subway. This is a new listing so hopefully some improvements to better serve guests will be forthcoming. This is not a secure place for women traveling alone.

Modern, clean apartment

This beautiful home is newly renovated with modern finishes throughout and clean. The neighborhood is residential and quiet but close enough to the city for tourist activities. The owner is very communicative and responsive.
