The Booroobin Eco Studio was absolutely stunning. So private and peaceful, with breathtaking views of the Glass House Mountains. If you’re looking to truly switch off, go off-grid, and have some quiet space to reset, this is the perfect place. Chris and Donna were so welcoming and informative when we arrived, and then very respectfully gave us space to enjoy the stay. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed highly recommend.

Beautiful Country Cottage

Such a gorgeous spot to stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Loved driving through the property seeing the wallabies around. Thank you Chris and Donna for having us and for all those extra touches you put into it. Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delightful mountain retreat

Mimburi is a wonderful eco-friendly mountain getaway, which feels delightfully isolated yet is within easy reach of towns and walking trails in the Glasshouse Mountains. The studio is spacious and very clean, with beautiful surroundings and terrific views. Great care has clearly been taken to ensure that everything you could need is available. Freshly baked bread and a breakfast plate is provided upon arrival. We especially appreciated the efforts made to incorporate environmentally friendly energy, water, and products.

Absolutely stunning

Thank you so mucy Chris and Donna for such an incredible weekend! Everything in the studio was perfect, the kitchen beautifully stocked with everything we would need. The breakfast pack was an absolute highlight, especially the fresh bread and slow cooked beans. Thank you again to you both and we cant wait to hopefully stay here again soon!

Stunning environmentally friendly holiday location

Chris and Donna have a beautiful location and we were very thankful they decided to share it with us! The studio is the perfect place for 2 people. It has everything you need if you’d like to stay in, but it’s also really close to lots of beautiful little towns that you don’t have to if you’d rather explore. It’s also just a short stroll from the studio down the hill to a fire pit with a view of the Glass House Mountains, as well as comfy chairs to star gaze in. Chris and Donna are very kind hosts as well, and the love they have for their little corner of the world is clear in every little detail. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

The best short, or long stay, getaway!

Donna and Chris were amazing hosts. We stayed 2 nights, would love to stay longer. The studio is amazing, as is the location. Everything was brilliant. Breakfast was included with Donna's homemade bread and beans the highlight. We even received marshmallows for the fire pit! The studio had everything we needed.Highly recommended and we will back to take on the driveway fun run :-) Thanks for sharing your awesome part of the world with us.

Modern, immaculate and tasteful studio

The studio is spacious, spotless and beautifully furnished. It is private and located in its own garden area. The studio itself does not look onto the Glasshouse mountains but the views from up or down the hill at the guest fire pit are amazing and easily accessible. Lots of birds and wildlife. Chris and Donna are generous hosts with Donna providing home- made bread and a wonderful starter breakfast as well as plentiful pods for the Nespresso machine. Chris and Donna have developed a wonderful off -grid and sustainable home which is a pleasure to be able to enjoy. Highly recommended.

The property was a little hard to find and access a little difficult but the studio was absolutely beautiful. We loved the aspect and amenities. The breakfast hamper was awaiting us. Donna could not be more helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. Our hosts were so helpful and obliging. The breakfast package was delicious and the loaf of fresly baked bread was the icing on the cake. Our night around the fire pit gazing at the night sky was very special. The Studio was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better few nights away.
