Blowing Rock is a cool place. Staff was very friendly. Place was a clean HIE, so if you have been to a good one, you should know what to expect. Recommend this place, would stay again.

A good place to stay.

Overall, our stay at this hotel was enjoyable, earning its solid 4 out of 5 rating. The bed was excellent—comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful night. However, cleanliness could be improved, as the entryway and bathroom tiles felt slightly sticky, and when we wiped up a spill, the rag picked up noticeable dirt. The breakfast, often praised in reviews, was certainly above average compared to typical hotel offerings, but we found the selection of healthy options to be quite limited. Sound insulation is one area for improvement, which is common across many U.S. hotels. Noise from the hallway was easily heard inside the room, and vice versa, occasionally disrupting the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel delivers a quality experience and is well worth considering for a stay.

Staff was fine. Outside the front entry has a dirty look. Needs pressure washing to include trash dispensers. Breakfast was good and room seemed clean. I would rate it at 4 stars.
