Let's start with hotel operations and customer service because that was definitely the worst part of this whole experience. This hotel is poorly managed, poor leadership and no accountability to the staff. So many guests at the desk complaining for all different reasons and the staff are numb to it and shake their heads like- yep, you're right, this is bad, we know... The GM has instructed the staff not to give out his contact details because he doesn't want to be bombarded with the complaints. The lack of leadership starts right there at the top. It's subject to multiple power outages due to its "remoteness" which is not the hotels fault, but something to be mindful of, especially if you plan to rely on elevators. The layout is vast and you have to take SEVERAL elevator rides and stairs to get anywhere. This is is not a place for folks with handicap or mobility issues FYI.
The daily housekeeping doesn't clean, they only put fresh towels and make the bed. They do not clean the bathroom in between. Not sure if that's what should be expected or if this is a service failure. The sink, shower and toilet were never cleaned during our stay. So many terrible examples of poor customer service, the valet lost our car key 3 different times. The taxi process is a mess, you request for one, your first in line, several others come, everyone is waiting, some other employee takes over and then it's a free for all for taxis because he has no idea who's waiting. Would never stay here again
