LOVE LOVE LOVE this property! It was absolutely immaculate and the host was amazing! There was not a single bad thing I could say about our stay. The property was both stunning inside and out. The beds were cozy and smelted of fresh linen. It was a much needed girls weekend away, filled with relaxation and serenity. Not to mention in such a beautiful little town with gorgeous shops, all within walking distance. Highly recommend and I definitely hope to be back very soon!

It was such a pleasure staying at Poplar Woods. Small decor touches created a cared for feeling. It was so easy for us to relax and feel right at home for our girl's getaway. The cottage was spotless, beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed throughout our stay, and the property was lovely inside and out. Jennifer was truly a pleasure to connect with, and responded without delay to answer any questions we had. If back in the Bayfield area, we would not hesitate to return to Poplar Woods. It was an exceptional experience.

My family and I had a great stay at Poplar Woods! The host was so welcoming and the cottage was clean and bright and beautiful. The large picture windows allowed the beauty of the wooded lot be the star of the show. We visited in late February but this is truly a spot that can be enjoyed year-round. My sister-in-law is already talking about returning for her next girls’ getaway. I hope to be back as well.

Beautiful week in Bayfield

We enjoyed another beautiful week in Bayfield. Cottage stays made the process easy and met all our needs. Poplar woods was great and Jennifer @ Cottage stays was great to deal with and patient with all my questions. My family is looking forward to many great years here on our annual Bayfield vacation.

Great family retreat that was beautiful and relaxing. Lots of relaxing activities - walking around the neighborhood, to the beach, Mainstreet shops, parks. Will definitely be going back!!!

Beautiful escape!

We throughly enjoyed poplar woods! Great location, lovely views and a beautifully appointed home. Was so nice to feel welcomed with all the festive decorations too!

Wonderful stay at Poplar Woods

We absolutely loved our Bayfield ON cottage (PoplarWoods) stay. The cottage was beautiful, very clean, in a serene private setting, well equipped and roomy. The beds were comfy and upstairs bedroom allows star watching while laying in bed. Location handy and right in town but felt away from it all. Perfect! We hope to return in future and highly recommend this newer cottage and CottageStays.

Relaxing stay in a lovely home

Spent a relaxing week in a lovely, well-appointed home. Close to downtown shops and restaurants; grocery & liquor/wine store. Poplar Woods was very comfortable, with fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and leisure spaces, and a forested back yard. A great place to relax and unwind.

Lovely Little Vacation

We really enjoyed our time at this rental. Beautiful home, very clean and minimal, but has everything you need which we appreciated. Perfect for our toddler and small dog as there wasn’t a lot of stuff they could get into. The host was extremely easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We frequently visit Bayfield due to the beautiful clear blue waters and sandy beaches. Our stay at Poplar Woods was phenomenal. What a beautiful home. It is recently renovated and everything was in great condition. The home was clean and beautifully furbished. We loved it here! Thank you for having us!!

Wonderful, private escape

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed an extra long-weekend in this beautifully bright and modern house. We have been to Bayfield many times before and love exploring the town and the surrounding areas, but on this occasion, we found the house and private garden too enjoyable to leave for long. It was an exceptional break that provided peace and tranquility from our busy lives. We highly recommend!

A private, quiet cottage in the trees.

A family of seniors enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at this cottage. Small soaps, coffee, chocolates and treats for our little dog were special extras that we appreciated. Lots of towels and facecloths were available and a lovely screened in porch was ideal for playing cards in the evening. A wonderful cottage for that was so enjoyable. Thank you.

Short Holiday get away that crossed all the t’s

Our trip to the “Poplar Woods” was a perfect getaway for the US Memorial weekend with friends. Driving top down to the beach and hitting all the familiar shops was topped off by the perfect cottage that offered upscale accommodations with a homey atmosphere. The setting was so nicely tucked into the woods, but not so remote that a quick easy walk to town wasn’t possible. Every possible detail was thought of and executed without feeling overdone. We will definitely return.

Beautiful, relaxing, clean

Jennifer's property was exactly what we needed for our wedding. We stayed in the cottage for five days over our wedding weekend and used it as our getting ready space for the ladies hair and makeup. The space was large, bright, and clean. I appreciated the black out blinds on the bedroom windows. The sunroom was an amazing feature for sitting out and chatting with friends. The only downside was limiting the cars in the driveway to three max. It was a little stressful when people would pop by I'd have to make sure we didn't go over the car limit. Other than that everything was great and I would definitely stay again.

What a jewel!

Our first impression was just”Wow”! That was from the outside. Going inside, there were more Wows! and “Look at this”, and “This place is awesome!” I would call the architecture and decor Scandinavian minimalist-in the best possible sense.The cottage is filled with light from the floor to ceiling windows. And we definitely got the message from the owners that they wanted us to enjoy ourselves and feel at home. We did both. Would highly recommend this cottage for a quiet getaway.

Poplar Woods is going to be popular!

Poplar Woods is a beautiful A-frame cottage in an idyllic location in the town of Bayfield. The owners carefully designed it to enhance the woods - both inside and out. Our family of four enjoyed an early summer week away. The cottage is brand new, bright, and clean. We felt at home with the mid-century modern decor. There was ample storage and it was easy to keep the cottage tidy. Beds are all very comfortable and both showers had good temperature regulation and water pressure. The kitchen is very well-equipped and nicely laid out. The cottage comes with a good selection of books and games. We enjoyed quiet mornings in the sunroom, walks around town, visits to the beach, and meals on the back deck. Highly recommended!

Relaxing

Our stay was relaxing, peaceful and recharging. I was expecting the T.V. to be in the family room. It’s upstairs. BUT that was what made our trip. We talked we laughed we reconnected. I couldn’t have asked for a better time. The cottage is just beautiful. Has everything you need and more. I’ve rented a lot of cottages through the years and I must say this was the most beautiful. We planned to go to town in the morning and by the evening we were still at the cottage enjoying ourselves. We are also impressed with the contact and attention the agency made with us. I’ve never experienced the level they have to make sure you stay is going well. We will definitely be coming back. It’s great families, couples, a girls weekend or just reconnecting with loved ones.
