Our stay at HuronTime

A lovely, bright, clean & comfortable, open concept space to share with our family, & two dogs. The beach access across the road was handy for walking them both and for days enjoying Lake Huron. We appreciated being able to bring the four leggers with us! HuronTime had all the amenities we required and was a nice quiet break from regular life. Communication & booking with CottageStays was excellent! We would stay again & recommend. Many thanks!

Relaxing vacation at Huron Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Huron Time. The home was very modern, homey, comfortable and beautiful. The home was equipped with a variety of kitchen equipment that was very useful. There were lots of quiet places to sit and relax including outside. We loved and used the fire pit several nights there. One suggestion that I would make would be to have pokers and smore sticks available for guests as we had to improvise. Attention to detail was evident as check-in was very smooth. Local coffee, chocolates and soaps were added which was a nice touch. The location is great as it is close to town and the beach. I fell in love with Bayfield and the area. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home for the week.

Bayfield getaway

There was an abundant and unacceptable amount of dog hair everywhere in the living room, on the floors, on the furniture that was NOT cleaned up from the prior renter; this was brought to the attention of the property manager who said 'UGHHH" and proceeded to do nothing about the problem. Dogs are obviously more important than human beings. Would you complain about a human hair in your salami sandwich? Or is that considered just normal behavior these days?! There was a hefty cleaning fee that was not reimbursed to me and my concern went unnoticed. Our furry friends are very much loved and appreciated, however this animal WAS NOT MY PERSONAL FURRY FRIEND, so one should be expected to tolerate the leftover hair from previous tenants. Let us remember that humans do have allergies to dog dander and asthma exacerbation to animal dander. A clean rental should be of utmost importance to VRBO!

Huron Time

My husband, 21 year old daughter and our dog had a lovely stay at Huron Time. Our only issue was operating the shower and getting the bath drain to open otherwise we had a very lovely stay! Property is modern, very clean and very close to the beach and town. Highly recommend! :)

Beautiful home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Huron Time….gorgeously decorated and the kitchen had everything you would need. Jennifer was a joy to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed. The coffee and dog cookies she left for us (and our pet) was a very nice touch. Would highly recommend this cozy “cottage” to anyone. We will definitely be back. Thanks Jennifer and Shauna!

The perfect R&R from the city

My husband and I rented Huron Time the week of Aug 18-25. The property exceeded our expectations and was the perfect location for us and our kids (4 & 2). We were a close walk to a number of beach entrances and really enjoyed the large backyard with the fire pit. Everything was clean when we arrived and the check-in process was quick and easy (just what we needed with kids in tow). They’ve obviously updated some aspects that differed from the original description (in the best ways)… we were especially impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was. We would not hesitate to rent this amazing home again.

Beautifully renovated

We had a great week. The cottage was beautifully renovated and decorated and looks exactly as shown. The kitchen is very well stocked with all of the dishes and appliances you could ever need. Beach access is about a 10 minute walk (unless you want to climb a hill). Bayfield is wonderful as always and it's only about 20 minutes to walk into Main street. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely to explore. The hosts were attentive and provided all the info we needed. We would book this again.

One Rainy Weekend

Although the weather did not permit us to explore the lake proximity or even much of Bayfield or Goderich, we three ladies over 60, and our wee four legged lady had plenty of opportunities to enjoy the well appointed kitchen, the three luxurious bedrooms and the beautiful fireplace. The thoughtful extras - toiletries, local coffee - were much appreciated. Maggie really loved the homebaked dog biscuits! We will have to return when the weather warms up to really enjoy all that the property has to offer, but even still, it was a lovely and relaxing weekend.

Fabulous beach town getaway

Amazing place to stay and enjoy the beaches and the town of Bayfield. The house was clean and updated with a well equipped kitchen, cozy beds, gorgeous decor and fantastic outdoor spaces. It was the perfect place to be with the family.

We had an amazing time. The weather turned out to be amazing.

The experience was just what we wanted. The beach was great although it was a little rocky. It was a perfect family time and the cottage was perfect. Decorating was excellent and the mattresses were very comfortable. Loved it
