Blue Mountain Loft was perfect! The owner was very accommodating and the house was perfect for our short stay in Wilseyville for my son’s motorcycle race. The house was spotless and had all the amenities for a perfect getaway.

This was our second time visiting the property, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The host was very communicative and made everything easy. The space is private and relaxing, and the coffee was amazing — such a nice touch. The only small suggestion would be to upgrade the cheese grater, but otherwise everything was perfect. We’d definitely stay again!

Perfect weekend getaway place to stay. Easy check-in process and very quiet location. The loft was super clean upon arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, utensils, plates, appliances to make your own food. Even had Tupperware to store leftovers, very thoughtful! Lots of windows for natural lighting.

A gem in the woods!

If you're looking for a perfect gateway in the woods, this house is an absolute gem and a perfect retreat! Beautifully designed with a blend of modern and rustic charm. The fully equipped kitchen has a massive island, ideal for cooking and gathering. The comfy beds and tasteful furniture make it cozy, and the large plot with towering trees offers peace and serenity. Well-connected for exploring the region, it’s the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommend!

Excellent vacation property

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this lovely, cute, secluded, clean and well decorated home. I already wish to go back and probably will in the future. It’s nice and private up there so it was lovely to getaway from it all. The owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I highly recommend this vacation home

Great little mountain house

We enjoyed the house and found it clean and as pictured on VRBO. The owners were nice and replied promptly when we reached out also. The only minor complaints were that the house was pretty cold when we arrived and took a while to heat up with only one wall heater and it was also unfortunate that we were not allowed to use the fireplace as it looked from the posting that this was one of the amenities at this property. Everything else about the house was great though.

Relaxing Getaway

A perfect place for a getaway! The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and has everything you need. We loved the pour over coffee. We enjoyed visiting the Black Chasm Cavern, hiking, exploring the town of Murphy's and enjoying a glass of wine while watching deer from the porch.

A Gem in the Woods

A perfect getaway to the woods for quiet relaxation and rest. Modern decor and amnementies. Master bed is soft and cozy. A new favorite vacation spot for us, close to Sacramento. A good home base to several hikes.

Great but too dim

We love the cabin, it is comfortable and cozy. The two feedback we have are: 1. Change the lights to (dimmable) brighter ones. It was soo dark even though all the lights we turned out on. It was hard to see when we were putting together our puzzles. 2. Add hooks so we can hang out jackets/sweaters These are just nit picks. It is a lovely place and we enjoyed our stay.

The Beauty of the Yellow Door House

This was an AMAZING experience! My husband and I wanted to spend a much-needed mini vacation in a private setting and we found it. The little house with the yellow door was situated in a forest on the top of the hill with lots of trees and beautiful wildflowers.The view was relaxing as we sat in adirondack chairs, having a drink. The kitchen was easy to move around in with all necessities provided. The living room was very comfortable and the bedroom was exceptionally nice. The bathroom was a nice fit for the house. And although we didn't use them, there was a washer and dryer easily accessed. The rules of the house were contained in a binder and easily understood. One of the nicest features of the house was the interior design. It was unique from other properties in which we've stayed. It was a little quirky and showed that the owners care about making it more than a basic place in which to spend time. The price was extremely fair for the Little House with the Yellow Door. We will definitely be going back!

Best stay ever!

My husband and I have rented many cabins through VRBO and this one has to be our favorite!! Everything was so clean, modernized, cozy, and not to mention the spacious kitchen! We also enjoyed the sunset down at the adirondack chairs with a glass of wine in hand. Talk about relaxing!! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you again!! :)

WONDERFUL CABIN IN THE WOODS!

Every detail in this lovely cabin has been perfectly thought out, especially the well-stocked kitchen with utensils and cooking accessories and the very comfortable bed and bedding. The hosts were awesome and we look forward to a return visit in the near future. Strongly recommend the the Union Pub in nearby Volcano for a meal in their garden patio and an excursion to Silver Lake.

Relaxing

Hello. We made an uncharacteristic last minute reservation for this hilltop home. It was the perfect accommodation for me and my husband. The home is very clean and serene. We enjoyed visiting nearby Black Chasm and playing bocce ball in the public garden. Wilseyville is a bit remote, so I’d recommend bringing whatever food items you’d like from home. (There is a small market and a great breakfast cafe relatively close.). We had a lovely time! Thank you.

Definitely a jewell in the rough

My daughters and I really enjoyed the beautiful, modern ammenitites of the cabin itself. Very cozy, inimate and kept up very well and the open loft feel was really lovely.

Lovely quiet location. We really enjoyed our night there and will consider it in future

Pretty simple to find and very very comfortable place to hang out and relax. The only thing we were not able to locate were some hand towels and wash cloths in the bathroom.
