Our family enjoyed staying in this lovely townhome by the Cahaba River during the Christmas break. We loved having coffee in the morning outside and enjoying the fire pit in the evenings! Very clean and comfortable. We will come back again!

Location was perfect for my meetings. Close to Publix, nice shopping areas & restaurants. Very quiet. House was clean. Bed was comfortable. My only comment, which is really more of a heads up, is to stop at Publix (5 min drive) on your way in and get all your paper products and coffee items. Kitchen and bathrooms weren’t well stocked for a five night stay.

Loved the lighting bugs!

Clean end unit next to the river. Close to everything, yet in a quiet hidden area. It was wonderful to see the fireflies each night. I haven’t see them in years.

Quiet Oasis by the river

We had an amazing time at this beautiful little townhouse on the river. The patio with soft lighting was perfect for hosting our small group of friends & family. Frank was a great host and responded quickly when I had a question about the fire pit. Will definitely book again!

This is a wonderful property. Beds and living room/dining room space was very comfortable. Our favorite place and reason for booking was the outdoor covered sitting area, the table and chairs facing the water and the peaceful nature of the proximity to the river. My sister was having cancer treatments at UAB Kirkland Clinic and this was the perfect place for us to relax and rejuvenate together. We rested and visited and enjoyed our precious time together. We felt very safe and the location was close to the clinic as well as Publix, Target and restaurants. Thank you, Frank for the use of your home.

Overnight Stay

We enjoyed our night but were sad there was no propane in the outdoor firepit. It was a nice evening and we were looking forward to enjoying the outdoor space. Also the bedroom balcony had not been cleaned of cigarettes and drink cans.

Short but sweet stay - great girls trip away

We had a great time, even though it was a short stay. Clean and in a great location! We did partly reserve it for the hot tub shown in the amenities listing, but it was nowhere to be found, which was strange. We also couldn't figure out how to use the firepit (no instructions anywhere) and the outdoor space needed some cleaning, but we are low maintenance and had fun regardless! If there were more labels/instructions, and something other than decaf coffee in the "complimentary" cupboard, it would have been perfect!

Didn’t stay there

No response from Hoist on multiple attempts including phone calls. 12 hours from arrival and still nothing so I booked another location. Then finally received check in info the morning of the arrival day so I got to pay for 2 locations. I stayed at the second location and never saw the rental property.
