Although the room was relatively well kept, this property did not provide adequate parking for all guests. Another problem we came across was with a guest in the room next door (who we shared an adjoining door with). The guest next door began yelling and what sounded like chanting very loudly that my daughter had to wear noise cancelling headphones to sleep. The guest began either smoking or burning incense that smelled terrible. The hotel staff’s only solution was to move us to another room where a prior guest had smoked in. This is supposed to be a non-smoking property!!

We love this hotel. It is always clean and everyone is so friendly. We love the little efficiency apartment Style King bedroom. Super cozy and perfect for a couple. We come here a lot to go to UAB and it is close to that and also close to multiple restaurants. All within walking distance.

There was no shuttle to The Residence at the airport. Had to use a different hotel shuttle. Upon arrival the night clerk was rude when I rang the door for assistance as the sign said to. She was rude & abrasive because she had to walk 40 ft from the desk to the door. I had no room key at the time. Another night clerk got got grumpy when I asked for a business card with the address & phone number of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean & comfortable. Some of the desk clerks could use a refresher course in customer service in my opinion. My only issue with breakfast was that it was late one morning when I went down & the selections were mislabeled as to what they were.

The door to our hotel room 220 was difficult to open and close. We also had an issue with the toilet stopping up. Lastly the elevator smelled sour.
