The best part of this unit is the location - which is totally awesome! For the price, I would have much rather stayed in a hotel. Walls were covered in scuff marks, ceiling fan was dirty and covered in dust, furniture was incorrectly assembled such that 2 of the 3 chairs were unsafe to sit in because of wobbly legs! The side table by the window was also wobbly and improperly put together. There is one fob to get into the building, so if you're a couple who likes to keep independent schedules, be prepared to make plans to arrive back to the space together. There is a washer and dryer but we did not attempt to use them. Instructions to not speak with anyone in the building felt strange and cold and left us wondering if we were going to get in trouble for interacting witj others. Street parking was readily avaliable within a block during our entire stay. There is one elevator in the building and this unit is on the opposite end of the building, so be prepared to get your steps in. The pool was nice; not large enough for laps but lovely for a soak. Again, it felt weird to be instructed to not speak to people which adds a strange element, but whatever. Coffee selection was purely flavored k-cups. Bare minimum ammmenities for the kitchen. The shower has a strange drain where there is a dip for several inches surrounding - can be a tripping hazard for the unsteady. AC was ice cold and easy to navigate. Wifi strength was intermittent during the day.

Property was beautiful. Very clean other than the washer despenser drawer. It definitely needed a wipe down. There are no chests of drawers so unpacking clothes is not possible. Very large closet but only 5 or 6 hangers. The shower needed a a stool or shower caddy to place your things on. We ended up having to put shampoo, conditioner, razor etc. on the shower floor. Host was very quick to respond. Overall i would give it a 9/10.

Very nice place.

Everything was clean and looked great. Checking in was very easy. The person I kept in contact with was quick to respond and very friendly. The bed was very comfortable too. We will be staying here again if we are in the area and need a place to stay the night.

Romantic evening in the city

It was absolutely beautiful! We love the location, amenities, security and decor. We would definitely recommend this unit and stay again. Having a functioning balcony was a nice way to end the night. The host response time was on point as well, we didn’t need much. Checking in was a bit intricate but we managed. My feedback would be considering turning the air on prior to guest arrival as the air was stale and consider modifying the check-out time to 11am like a hotel. We knew of this prior to our stay of course but actually doing it was another feat in its entirety. Getting up at 8:30am to ensure we left it the way we received it and getting ourselves dressed for the day was not pleasant, it was challenging enjoying the morning and monitoring the clock.

Fun in Birmingham

This property was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great communication with the host. Very comfortable and relaxing area, close to museums, historical artifacts, freeways and dining.
