Some of the most phenomenal, attentive and nice staff at a resort this size. The food was exceptional with a wide variety of menu items that isn't only South Asian. I can't rave enough about Sanchaya, it's a fantastic retreat and only an hour ferry ride from Singapore.

Beyond Superb

The Sanchaya exceeded all our expectations. It was absolutely spectacular from its location to its beautiful buildings and grounds. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and the food was beyond superb. We stayed at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore before coming here and I would say that The Sanchay far surpassed Raffles, which is knowns as one of the top hotels in the world. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sanchaya. The staff were all really super friendly and helpful. The staff would go out of the way to help. Thank you to the Sanchaya. One thing to be mindful of is that there are very limited dining options in walking distance of the Sanchaya so we ate most meals at the hotel which are excellent but you do need to allow for it in your budget. If you are impatient do not eat at the Sanchaya as the food takes a really long time to come after ordering. This did not bother us as we were on island time.

If you are looking for a quiet and exclusive hotel, this is the place. It will be very relaxing as you will only see a few guests all the time. There’s a lot of staff constant looking after you and asking if you need anything- if you need them, they will not be overwhelming.
