We had an overall pleasant stay at Four Points by Sheraton Bintan. The hotel is relatively new, clean, and well-maintained, with modern amenities and a beautiful beachfront view. Most of the staff were warm and helpful throughout our visit, which added to the relaxing experience. The only downside was the front desk—while not unfriendly, they were quite rigid when it came to late check-out requests, which felt a bit inflexible considering the otherwise welcoming vibe of the hotel. Still, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back.

There was an error in check in however manager Niko? was quick to rectify and upgrade roomand also provide driver to tangar uban for return journey. Icha at the pool bar was very attentive and good fun which made our stay most enjoyable.

Average at best. Although staff were friendly and helpful, the deal breaker for me was the living room toilet which had a bad sewerage smell throughout my stay. Hotel could not resolve the issues even after we had feedback on first day. Ended up just kept the toilet door door closed to prevent the smell from escaping. Considering how new the hotel was, upkeep was not good as you could see damage on the flooring etc. Food was also average.

The view was great. Mostly wooden floor so it isn't as dusty as those rooms that are fully carpeted. Furnishing and fixtures are relatively new. Toilet had some flies but it's expected due to the climate here. Our shower floor drain was clogged but the technicians cleared it and it was ok. Bring a good umbrella if you are walking to the shops/food establishment outside the resort as the sun can be extremely harsh.

I chose this hotel because it's relatively new. It was indeed new but the room condition is not recommendable due to strong moldy smell and dusts on the floor and shelves. I saw spider net at the corner of the room floor. Staff were friendly and nice but overall service is slow and less organized. Breakfast restaurant was not yet cleaned by the open time and staff were still cleaning the floor at 7am or later. Hope the operation and cleaning stansart will improve.

Food was ok but the appetisers for the western food is not good. We ordered mesclun salad but what we got was a salad with Romaine lettuce, it's supposed to be a mix of different greens, the french onion soup tasted weird, the onions were not soft or caramelized and did not have the cheese on top of the soup. The steak and lamb chops were good. Overall the hotel is nice but need to improve on the western menu. The breakfast buffet was also good.

**Had initially submitted a 3/5 star review for delayed check-in and about the "ocean view" villa not having any view of the ocean. I was quickly contacted by Kaleb from guest relations who assured me that the hotel takes the feedback seriously. They offered various options for service recovery which we gladly accepted.** Overall experience - the hotel is very clean and relatively new, and the amenities are more than sufficient for a short stay. The best part of the experience is the staff - all of them (including those at the two restaurants) were super friendly and always greeted us with smiles and asked if we had any issues and how they could help. Around the area, we had heard before the trip that Plaza Lagoi was a ghost town with vacant shop spaces but it wasn't as bad. There were a couple of restaurants, a Yeah Mart, a Mama-B bakery and a gelato shop, and a massage spa too.

I have one way to describe our stay… “when can we book our next stay” !! From the pre trip check in on our ferry timings to the pick up and drop at the hotel, the welcome and seamless check in. It was A+ customer service all the way. The hotel is new and everything is very well managed. The spa was great- we had the signature and herbal treatment, they also made a last min schedule change as per our request. The hotel has a wonder and huge pool with a restaurant catering to drinks and food pool side with a continental menu. The main restaurant in the hotel serves local cuisines but the very highlight is the breakfast spread. It’s sooo sooo sooo soo good, and very generous. It was my birthday, and the staff had decorated the room so beautifully. We stayed in the ocean terrace king room and wow, not to mention the huge balcony! The view was stunning. This review would not be completed without mentioning Indra who welcomes us and is such a talented mixologist. The smiles on the Sheraton staff faces and the unbelievable hospitality make this an epic epic trip! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
