Lovely property, responsive host, easy to access and very peaceful. The lot is a great size and the firepit was a fun feature. All enjoyed it. If you stay there with more than 4 people, please note the inside common area is very small as is the kitchen. The table for meals only seats 4 people, the bedrooms are nice, large and having 2.5 bathrooms is great.However, if you stay here (or any place where you elect to pay for the insurance offered on VRBO's site), take photos of everything when you arrive and when you leave. Some kitchen items here were not a set (random coffee mugs) or did not have a full set (only had two stemmed wine glasses and one stemless wine glass), etc. I didn't think anything of it. It didn't bother us, and we didn't feel it was worth bothering the host about. We just used what was there and available. But we were notified a couple days after we checked out by the insurance company noting several items they filed claims for against the insurance policy. Nothing was broken, missing or removed from the property when we checked out. Also, I did let the host know the fridge was not cooling properly one evening but by the time she responded the following morning, we had to throw away the local seafood we purchased and milk, etc. as a result. Didn't make a big deal about it; those things can happen anywhere. But if you bring a dog, make sure to remove all poop or pay an extra 50 fee. Our family had a lovely time here & would recommend it.
